No Great Plains team?
NCRHA

Correct, no team from the GPCIHL. The 4 rosters posted here (and on ncrha.org and NARCh's schedule) are the only 4 teams attending.
Hopefully next year we can get 6-7 teams when NARCh is in San Jose again.
Safe travels to all the players travelling tomorrow. And best of luck!

Why isn't there a great plains team? We could put together a great team in no time... I just don't get it.

the previous SCHL roster is not correct.. here is the SCHL Roster for NARCh Finals:
SCHL
Andrew Hebert - (University of Louisiana-Lafayette)
Bryce Miller - (University of Louisiana-Lafayette)
Tommy Herter - (University of Louisiana-Lafayette)
Matt Vinson - (University of Louisiana-Lafayette)
Jason Valenza - (Louisiana State University)

The SCHL team with travel with only 6 skaters and 1 goalie to NARCh after a couple players could not attend the event at the last minute. Even though we will have a short bench, we are extremely excited to represent the SCHL and NCRHA @ NARCh!!.. Lookin foward to see'n yall n canada!

I would e-mail your regional director to find out.

I think all regions really need to take this event more seriously if they want anything to come out of it. We are showcasing college hockey with ONE player from the top 4 teams in the country (UMSL, Lindenwood, Michigan State, and Buffalo)

Bill Bourque is on-site and will be updating www.ncrha.org with scores and recaps. There is already a recap up of the first 2 games.

Fair Enough.
However, you can't force players to play and I think that 3-4 players that were selected from Buffalo couldn't play.

I believe a mass text was sent out, but nobody wanted to do it or it wasn't followed up.

I actually don't have the stats for the semi's or finals. I was in such a rush to get out of Canada on Sunday that I didn't get remember to grab them. My sister was in a pretty wicked car accident on the PA turnpike on Saturday night so I was rushing to get home without all the details.
Thankfully it turned out not a be a big deal minus some minor injuries/burns from the air bags and the car being totally destroyed. However, my mine was scrambled and I forgot them.
That being said, the final was awesome, the MCRHL played awesome and totally deserved the gold. Dave Hollingshead scored the winner on a fantastic effort of splitting the defense and deflecting the puck into the net for a 2-0 lead that the East managed to cut in half, but Adam Goldberg had an answer for everything thrown his way, and trust me, there were plenty of chances.
Anyways, time for some rest, it was a great tournament and i hope all 4 teams had a good time.
