Hockey movie news... Director Kevin Smith is developing a movie based on the Warren Zevon song “Hit Somebody” about a 1970s goon in the World Hockey Association when the sport was even more about fighting.

If I'm not mistaken, David Letterman is in the background of that song, saying, "Hit Somebody!" He's a huge fan of the late Warren Zevon, and so am I. Thanks for the heads-up post.
