Pro:
#4 southampton cyclones swept the #1garden state savage wolves
Game 1: 3-0 Game 2: 5-2
The Savage Wolves put together a great team this season and were missing 4or 5 guys today but I give credit to the cyclones for putting together a well planned game plan not too mention that Ben Dahms absolutely played 2 of the best games of roller hockey I ever saw a goalie play. He stood on his head especially during a 1:30 4 on 2 late in game 1 to keep the shutout. Overall 2 great hockey games and Cyclones will be tough to beat if Dahms keeps playing like he did today.

Minor:
#1 scottdale inferno swept the #4 New Jersey Nightmare
Game 1: 5-4ot Game 2: 3-0

I didn't see any other games today so can someone update the scores as they find them out.

Congratulations to the Steel City Phantoms on the divisional title, and thank you to both the Phantoms and the Savage Wolves for the class with which they conducted themselves while playing us throughout the weekend

Congrats to The LI 495er's on advancing to face the Suffolk Sharks for the AIHL North East Championship.

they beat the Ants
9-1 and 6-4 this past Saturday.

The Ants couldnt recover after a freak injury to Mark Miller in period 2 of game one stopped play for 40 minutes. Score was 1-1 at the time and LI came out and scored 5 goals in a 5 minute span.

Game two was what the series should have been. Came right down to the last seconds with an Ants power play and LI scoring the empty net goal.

Mark shattered the lower right side of his femur in a freak collision.
Hes having surgery today to reattach the bone with screws and a plate.
Doctors are unsure of any ligament damage yet becuase of the swelling but it will be 12 weeks until he walks and 6 months before he laces them up again.

A bad break for a great kid.

I'm real sorry to hear about the injury to ol' white skates.

Here's to a speedy recovery.

The Ants played hard, however with 16 minutes of power play there is no way you could call this a close game.
Hope Mark recovers quickly .

Congratulations to the 495ers!!!
