The product description doesn't mention the wheels, but they are supposed to be the next best thing.

Sheesh,

After years of trying, I get Tour to advertise and this is the first post? No wonder I'm going bald.

the skates may be a little extreme but if they perform well than Im sure people will buy them. As far as the wheels go im waiting to get a set of them they are supposed to be amazing. If anyone has skated on them let me know what you think, hopefully before i spend the money.

I would hope you pick skates from performance and fit, not rule them out because of how they looked. I saw them down in Philly not to long ago and they looked good and well constructed. They did appear to be very stiff. However they only had one skate, without wheels, and red rather than orange. As for the wheels I know they have been in the designing process forever as I remember talking with people about the addiction wheel at state wars in 2007. It sure has changed a lot since then. Also if you have not done so yet the new tour website is really impressive and it seems they have made some big strides in the stick and helmet market.

Ha, sorry Richard, I got nothing against Tour, I like their stuff.

I just get annoyed at how expensive equipment can be nowaday's.

I'm sure they are a great skate but still, $400+ and the look of 'em....it just "grinds my gears"

Price wise I completely understand. I was just stating that I think it is stupid when you walk in to a hockey shop and someone eliminates trying a skate cause how they look or would only wear a certain skate because someone else wears it. I remember a couple years ago when no ones top of the line skate was more than 400, but every companies skates seems to cost more and more every year.

I got to see the new wheels at the Lets Play Hockey Show back in January...I think they are interesting and might be the science the sport was looking for back in 1998, all we need to do is call Bill Raue and borrow the Delorian

You can't get them yet. I tried ordering them from a couple websites I found them on, but I was told by the websites that they are all in China being put on the new Tour skates.

I know Eddie w/ the Tour truck displays and sells Labeda Wheels when he's at tournaments. He had that wheel on his table a few weeks ago in St.Louis. Believe me I've seen it and held it.

Thanks Stemm, if anybody gets a set I would love some feedback.. I have the AAU Junior Olympics coming up in a month and need a new set of wheels and am deciding between sticking with the Fuzions or giving these Addictions a shot... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I gave in and bought a set from HockeyDeals.com.

It sucks because I have RBK 9K's which use 2-72mm, 4-76mm & 2-80mm.....but they only sell the wheels in 4-packs so I had to buy 4 of each size ($150), now I got 12 Addictions coming in the mail, at least I'll have extras but if the wheels are as good as they're supposed to be I shouldn't need extra's....right?

Anyway, they should be here tomorrow, Im gonna wear 'em for a game Thursday to see how they feel, then take 'em off to save for TORHS Nats.

I'll give a little review...

sweet, can't wait for that review Jack - how long did they take to come in from HockeyDeals? My parents are going through the states when we go to FIRS worlds, so I'm ordering gear to where they're staying, but don't want it sitting at the hotel longer than necessary.
