SGAA Dual Deck "Fantastic Four" Championship Series
At the air-conditioned SGAA Dual Deck Arena – Snellville, GA

The SGAA Fantastic Four Championship Series is 4 skaters against 4 skaters plus goalies inline hockey tournament. There are no time outs or substitute players! Teams play 4 round robin games and then off to the play-offs. Each game is 10 minutes long. There are usually only 5 teams per division, sometimes more. Top 4 teams make the playoffs. Penalties result in a penalty shot! Fighting = automatic ejection from the tournament. The puck never stops unless there is a score.

Series Event Dates are as follows:
Saturday, May 30, 2009*
Saturday, July 11, 2009*
Saturday, August 15, 2009*

Divisions will include 8u, 10u, 12U, 14U, High School, Adult Gold, Adult Silver, Women and Master Adult (35+) each player pays $40.00. ($200.00/team)
- T-Shirts to the Champions of each division at each Series Event

2009 SGAA Fantastic Four National Championships**
Saturday, September 5th and Sunday, September 6th

The divisions will include 8u, 10u, 12U, 14U, High School, Adult Gold, Adult Silver, Women and Master Adult (35+) each player pays $45.00. ($225.00/team)
- 4 game guarantee for the Nationals
- 1st & 2nd Place team Trophies; T-shirts to the National Champions & Runner-Ups

*If your complete team plays in all 3 Series dates – they will get to play in the National Championships tournament for $30.00 per player ($150.00/team)

**Must play in at least one series event to qualify the National Championships.

SGAA Dual Deck Fantastic Four Pro Championships
- September 5th & 6th, 2009
- $500 entry fee per Pro Team
- Each Pro Team will play 4 round robin games then all teams will be seeded in the single elimination Championship bracket.

Pro Champion wins $1,000.00
Pro Runner-Up wins $500.00

Race for the Division Championship

Each team participating in each of the SGAA Dual Deck Fantastic Four Championship Series Events will accumulate points for the season standings. At the end of the 3 tournament series all the points will be totaled and the season winner in each division will receive (custom team jerseys stating they are the 2009 Fantastic Four Division Champion) at the 2009 SGAA Fantastic Four National Championships; Saturday, September 5th & Sunday, September 6th.

Divisions: 8U Gold – 8U Silver – 10U Gold – 10U Silver – 12U – 14U – High School – Adult Gold – Adult Silver – Women – Master Adult (35+)

Points Reason for points being earned
20 / Entering a team into a tournament series
15 / For winning a tournament series
13 / For being the runner-up in a tournament series
11 / For being the 3rd place finisher in a tournament series
3 /For every victory in a game in a tournament series
2 / For every victory in a shoot out in a tournament series
1 / For every loss in a shoot out in a tournament series
0 / For every loss

Read all of the above messages......these three events building up to the SGAA DUAL DECK FANTASTIC FOUR NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS are going to be a great! Another BIG secret will be unveiled shortly, please stay tuned to the exciting news!

Teams are signing up in all divisions - All Women and Masters division teams need to get on board!

1st Series Event – Saturday, May 30, 2009 (deadline to register is Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at 5:00pm)

2nd Series Event - Saturday, July 11, 2009
3rd Series Event - Saturday, August 15, 2009

National Championship - Saturday, September 5th & 6th

We had a great first series on May 30 with 30+ teams playing and the build up & registrations to our 2nd Series Event (which is on July 11) is moving along very well.

We again had a great 2nd series event this past weekend on July 11 with 30+ teams playing. The build up & registrations to our final series event, which is on August 15th, are coming along very well! The August 15th series event is the last event teams can qualify for the National Championship event which runs over Labor Day Weekend!

Only one week before the last Inline Hockey Fantastic Four Series Event (August 15th) at SGAA Dual Deck Arena in Snellville, GA...... is your team going to play in the this last qualifying event? If you haven't played in an event, this will be your last chance to pay and be eligible for the Nationals and you don't want to be sitting on the sidelines when the puck drops!
