just a story I wanted to share...
This guy in our facility soccer league comes up to me. He's gonna go across the border, where the bookies are legal, and make some bets on the NHL playoffs. He asks me for advice...
So I tell him, the average score of regular season games is like 5-3, 6-4...then it's like a cliche, almost every playoff game, the avg score goes down to 2-1, cause everybody plays defense as much as possible.
So...
Gerry bets the under/over at 5.5, and takes the under bet.
Out of the 8 games, only the Bruins/Canadiens game goes over, and only because of an empty netter, except for the Rangers/Caps at 4-3!
Guess which game Gerry picked?
Then he comes and reams me out for bad advice...
