Dear Hockey Friends and Family,

It is with a sad heart that we share with you news of the loss of one of our own, Mark Motley. Mark was tragically killed in a car accident on April 7th. He was 18.

Mark was a 2008 graduate of Santa Margarita Catholic High School and a student at Saddleback College. Mark wore jersey #27 for the SMCHS Eagles Varsity roller hockey team. He was a 2008 All-Star selection from that team and the recipient of the 2008 Varsity Coach's award. He and his friend and passenger Zachary Raffety, 17, also a SMCHS student, were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Live Oak Canyon Road in Trabuco Canyon.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and friends of both Mark and Zachary.

Funeral services for Mark will be held later today, Monday, April 13th at 1:00 PM

San Francisco Solano Catholic Church
22082 Antonio Parkway
Rancho Santa Margarita, CA

With respect and condolences to the Motley family, we send our deepest sympathy and caring thoughts as they honor the treasured life of their son Mark. He will be missed by many.
