Obviously picking for the playoff round hasn't started yet, but I am getting the rules and format up and going so it isn't a last minute crunch.

Round Two Scoring
Correct First Round Pick - 2 points
Correct Sweet 16 Pick - 4 points
Correct Elite 8 Pick - 6 points
Correct Final Four Pick - 8 points
Correct National Champion Pick - 10 points

Entry Format
First Playoff Round
To be played Pick Em' style here on Inline Hockey Central. (Pick by using the bold function on your prediction.)

Rutgers vs. Florida International
Louisiana Lafayette vs. Penn State
Michigan vs. West Point
Mizzou vs. Arizona State
Florida vs. Texas Tech
UNLV vs. North Texas
Central Florida vs. Colorado State
Towson vs. UC Santa Barbara

All entries will be due before April 3rd, 2009 at 7:25pm EST. You must have entered in round one for selections to count.

Selection opens on April 3rd, 2009 at 2:30pm EST.

Use the following online bracket. Register with your IHC user name for scoring reasons. Click "Predict It!" to get started. Be sure to click enter after making selections for each round.

Didn't get any entries for the pick em'... so no worries on the standings for those people who didn't get picks in. The bracket will be ready to go when the Central Florida vs. Colorado State and Towson vs. UC Santa Barbara games finish up.

Please post any comments on how the challenge was handled. I know there were some issues and bugs that need to be worked out.

Thank you to all participants and congratulations to the University of Missouri, St. Louis for defeating Lindenwood in the National Championship. Also congrats to Grand Vally State and their win over Central Michigan in the Division II National Championship. Saddleback Collage and Lindenwood Gold also deserve a congratulations for their Junior Collage and B Division National Championships.

Good luck next season to all teams.

Let's make sure one is done for the AIHL when playoffs roll around.

There will be a 2009 AIHL Playoff Challenge. It will start when all playoff match ups are decided. It will be a much easier scoring and entering format because of the elimination of pool play.
