First of all I am a longtime reader of these boards and a gigantic supporter of both leagues. My kid loves watching the guys play. We go down to marple and watch piha games and we go to southampton to watch the aihl games. Both teams put on a great show.
Now my question relates to John Pinheiro. This guys is phenominal and he is really an inspiration to all kids.
My question is how can this guy play in two places on the same day at the same time.
On January 24, 2009 he played for the Blaze in PIHA at Marple at 8PM and he also played for the Brawlers in AIHL at Skaters Choice at 8PM. Can somebody please explain this quandry as I would like to be able to be in 2 places at the same time as well.

Well I'll squash this before people start assuming things or spreading misinformation.
The Brawlers Elite and Minor games on January 24th were switched so that Pinheiro could honor his commitment to the Blaze and their games in Marple later that night. The AIHL's schedule page doesn't reflect this but it was agreed on by both the Brawlers and Surge beforehand.
I'm not 100% positive but I believe he left the Brawlers second game about halfway through the second period to make sure he got to Marple in time.
I'm not sure why someone's second post overall on this board would focus on this specifically but I understand that it is a legitimate question.

Joe,
I was not trying to start a fight and if it does I sincerely apologize to both the Brawlers and the Gladiators.
I just found it unique and truly wondered if he had some time machine to be able to do it.
I swear he must have one bcause at one moment he is at one spot on the rink and another he is on the opposite side celebrating a goal.

Joe do you know what time the games were so I can get them corrected on the website before a true war starts.

I believe the times were just swapped, meaning the Elites played at 6PM and 7:15PM and the Minors played at 8PM and 9PM.
William, I don't believe you were trying to start a fight, it was just an unusual first post for a long time reader. That, and I'm a cynical person. ;)
Either way, it was a legit question that probably would have surfaced one way or the other.
Hope you guys continue to enjoy watching the games and some of the awesome talent like Pinheiro for years to come.

Dont know aboout the time change but when i talked to John after the marple games that night he did say he played earlier with the
Brawlers. I resent the celebrating the goals part also btw...the man must of had 40 shots in those 2 games! On a side note i appreciate you coming out to support the gladiators, we are trying to return the team to the glory days.

I'm surprised that everyone is overlooking the fact that John is fast enough to be in two places at one time :)

The guy asking this question should be appointed to oversee the bank bailout plan.
