NJ Assault Apology

The NJ Assault would like to extend an apology for the mishaps of this past weekend Winter Nationals. Due to unforeseen travel and high school ice conflicts that arose last minute it made it impossible for the teams to play. We gave it every effort to round up players and other teams to fill our spot, in the end we fell short. Most of our schools were not off on Friday and the parents were willing to let the kids miss school until we found out they would be ineligible to play high school hockey for the Saturday evening playoff games. We asked for changes but no one would budge from the schools. In the end no one won. The kids missed a great tournament, and we have a black eye over it. The good part is wounds heal and we will do everything in our power to mend what we have done.

Once again we do apologize for this and we will work forward to make sure this does not happen again.
