Im picking Excitement 88 to win juniors. That team had a strong showing at the Narch Finals and I think they have picked up a few extra kids who will help them out.

For the pro division
1. Pama
2. Mission Snipers
3. Savage Wolves
4. RBK
Just thinking of who could be on the rosters this looks like it could provide some exciting games. I wish I was able to get down there this weekend to catch a game or two.

Hey Cali,
Down there? What are you doing in the cold northeast? Get yourself home, boy. ;)

Interesting format this weekend for NARCh Pro with 3 vs 4 then the winner goes against #2 - then the 2 vs 3 winner takes on #1....interesting
Lets go with:
1.Snipers
2.Wolves
3.Pama
4.Wings
So Pama vs Wings 6-3
Then Wolves vs Pama 4-2
Then Wolves vs Snipers
Snipers win in OT 5-4
The Snipers always look good and I was glad to finally see them win a NARCh Pro crown a year or so ago now...its their turf on Long Island - Derek Kern is playing pro ice right now...he is always a big factor and Pete Pennecke is still one of the best tenders around
Not sure what Pama will bring, with Itan back in the ECHL its uncertain there...It seems when he plays it draws everyone to watch him and forget about the likes of Osterkamp, Nijjar and his brother of course, but they always have a good and fast squad to watch out for
I think the Wolves could surprise some teams this year - with their close finishes against top ranked teams in recent events, I wouldn't be surprised if they were the top team this weekend, though Troho always picks fun at me, I pick them to finish high again
The Wings always have a top notch squad and playing together for the last few years they have surprised a few...getting to the TORHS Pro final in 2004 was a shock - they had a few chances to win too - it could happen again

A lot of Teams picked up players for this event. Should be very interesting.
The Buffalo guys havenīt gone with an older team in a long time. They will probably go with a younger squad. Those guys know can play the game. Watch out for their trap!

Stio, thanks for the kind words on our team... It will be a battle that's for sure. While we tend to keep the games close, we need to learn to finish a team off. Never the less, this weekend will be a great time!

im gonna go with the snipers for pro, they looked pretty good at torhs trifecta, i think either the wings or the exitement 88s will win junior, brooklynite hanuman for mens gold and beauties for mens platinum, not sure how the u18 division will pan out for platinum and gold.

Sweet, thanks for the mens gold prediction...
As for Pro, I'm thinking the Wolves will win over the snipers in the finals...They picked up Redstreake, Fulton & Fichter.
Not too sure about other divisions...

ended up being:
1. Pama
2. Snipers
3. RBK
4. Savage Wolves
I should look into being a handicapper. Seriously though, I wish I could have made it out there. I heard it was a pretty competitive division. 1st place and 4th place tying during round robin.
Rich,
Yes my first winter in New England has been a change. I was back in Cali for Christmas visiting and when I got back to Boston I was dressed for California weather. 17 degrees out and one layer of clothing was not fun :(
