Most of the teams are close to playing half the season already, just curious on peoples predictions. There are a few teams that have only played a few series so it may be tough to judge for some divisions. So here are my 3 questions:
1. Regular Season Divisions Champs? (Elite and Minor)
2. Play Off Division Champs? (Elite and Minor)
3. Who will win it all? (Elite and Minor)

1. Regular Season Divisions Champs?
Mid-Atlantic: Garden State (I am biased)
New England: Suffolk Sharks
Pacific North: San Jose
Pacific South: Huntington Beach
South East: Richmond
South West: Las Vegas
2. Play-Off Division Champs?
I have to say that Divisionally I have the same answers as the regular season.
For the conferences:
East: Garden State (I know I sound really biased, but it is going to be a battle to win the east with all the good teams)
West: Pama or Huntington Beach Whichever makes it out of the division will win the Conference
3. Who will win it all?
I am biased so I won't answer this one.

New England: ELITE Suffolk Sharks MINOR Fireants (BIAS)
Pacific North: ELITE San Jose MINOR Mustangs
Pacific South: ELITE Huntington Beach MINOR Pirates
South East: ELITE Richmond MINOR Syndicate
South West: ELITE Las Vegas MINOR Aces
2. Play-Off Division Champs?
Mid-Atlantic: ELITE Philly MINOR Harmaville
New England: ELITE Fireants (They are the sleeper, BIAS) MINOR Fireants (BIAS)
Pacific North: ELITE San Jose MINOR Mustangs
Pacific South: ELITE Huntington Beach MINOR Pirates
South East: ELITE Richmond MINOR Syndicate
South West: ELITE Las Vegas MINOR Aces
3. Can't make prediction yet. Have to see a few more weeks for teams. Have to say there seems to a lot of teams that have good defenses.

I can tell you who is going to win the whole thing and it is merely based on logic. Pama Cyclone or Huntington Beach. Both those teams have Narch Pro rosters. I don't see how anyone can hang with them.

I agree, whatever team wins the Pacific South will win it all. H.B. is surely the favorite but any one of the teams in the Pacific South division could end up winning that division come playoff time.

My predictions..
Pama will win the league beating O.C. if there's a playoff. if not O.C will have the best record. On the other end of the standings I think San Diego VooDoo will lose every game, even with team U.S.A duo Joe Noris and Louis Gonzales.. Can't figure out why he made the team? I've seen every game this year in Aihl West. that guy doesn't have as many points as it shows. Is that another j.n hookup. Dave Brito should have 35 plus points this year and he has 16. Can the aihl get the stats right It's pro...? Also the Ducks look good even with only one guy on the team. Irvine is a sleeper to lose to San Diego (the detroit lions of hockey). Don't ruin the dream....good luck to all and fix the stats....

It's up to the home team to enter the stats.

Not quite sure where that rumor started, but it is not true.
The finals will be held at Junior Olympics this year.

Is there information on the Divisional Playoffs? Someone told me it was just the Regular Season Division Winners who advanced and that we weren't having a playoff. Apparently I was misinformed.

3 of 4 teams in our division make playoffs, #2 hosts #3, winner moves on to play #1 in division finals. That's the format expected to be approved by owners at Let's Play Hockey Show this week.

Why not do it like the NHL? Division winners from each conference take 1st, 2nd and 3rd seeds. Then the next 5 in each are just whoever would rank top five. Do this for each conference and reseed after each round.
Example, current seeding:
North
#1 - Garden State
#2 - Oakland
#3 - Suffolk
#4 - San Jose
#5 - Southampton
#6 - Philadelphia
#7 - Long Island
#8 - Boston
South
#1 - Richmond
#2 - Huntington Beach
#3 - Las Vegas
#4 - Georgia
#5 - Pama
#6 - Junior Ducks
#7 - Irvine
#8 - Maryland
Why not do it like the NHL?
Because that just increased travel costs ten-fold.

I'm saying do it all at the Junior Olympics. Tournament Style.

I think that we are missing a very serious issue here. Richard.... Sorry if I am causing problems by bringing this up. There are going to be some serious things to consider when teams like pama, savage wolves, etc. are forced to choose between competing in the AIHL playoffs and TORHS pro division.
and i do not like the North vs South idea .... can we do east vs west?

Well, the AIHL Champion this year will come out of the Pacific South Division anyway so when you're gonna have to go through them is what everyone should be thinking about, not if.
Let's clarify here...pretty sure you guys mean the AIHL champ is coming out of the Pacific South (that's the division in SoCal) not the Southwest. Let's not put heavy expectations on us in the poor Southwest now.

there are a handful of teams that, with their full roster, have an equal chance at winning the whole thing

I noticed my mistake and corrected it, but I think the Dragons (the Phoenix Dragons that is) have a shot to take it this year. The PIHA Finals last year were terrific.

Of the 10 players on our Dragons PIHA team last year, only 2 are on the team this year.
