News from the Santa Barbara, CA event

Cal Poly SLO topped UNLV 7-6 in the opening game.

Saddleback was given their 1st loss of the season by UNLV.

San Diego State defeated Cal Poly SLO 4-3.

UNLV and San Diego State playing right now...1-0 lead by San Diego State at the end of the 1st.

Also in GPCIHL news, UMSL and Lindenwood are currently playing at Matteson's in St. Peters, Missouri.

UCSB up 3-1 on Saddleback halfway through the 2nd.

The UCSB hecklers, I mean fans, are out in full force. By full force I mean one heckler and his friends.

UCSB dealt Saddleback it's 2nd losss of the day (and season).

Saddleback was without top scorer James Irwin.

4 different goal scorers from UCSB (Wiederhold, Flores, Johnson, and Jeffries)

Saddleback got 2 goals from defenseman Tyler Fick and 1 goal from defenseman Rob Alexander.

Both goaltenders played great in this nail-biter. Taz Viloria of Saddleback stopped 29 or 33 shots, while Jay Schoen of UCSB stopped 21 of 24. Both goaltenders will be playing in the All Star Game next weekend.

in other news. There has been a weird guy juggling orange bowling pins in the corner pretty much all day long.

ok it's official, you were there. there is no way anyone could know about this guy.

not to mention orange juggling pins, but bean bags and balls. I heard that he often has plastic plates too.

Way to take up space in a building full of people...like there was no grass or a patio outside anywhere....the rain was over.

by the way, one of his pins hit me in the heel. I'm suing.
