Saw it on highlights of the NHL Network last night first hat trick is a natural hat trick, not to bad.

"possibly the goal of the year"
- NHL Network

"He is making a case for rookie of the year"
- NHL Network

That goal looked like a player with some inline hockey hands to me.

I thought about starting this thread too...

I was at the game last night and this goal was simply amazing... to completely use the defenseman and the goalie like that was unbelievable...(and I'm a Kings fan, not a Ducks fan).

The Ducks fan sitting next to me said "Maybe it's a good thing that Selanne is out." That fan might be right, Ryan most likely would not have been pulled up this year....

Great game by Ryan, great game overall....best part was Giguere getting pulled in the 2nd period...Hiller played well in relief.

I couldn't open that so I'm not sure if this is the same goal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OuY0gtMRXr8, but if your talking about that spin-o-rama goal, it sure is sweet !

Hi Guys,

I'm a Kings' fan too, and I was blown away by that move and goal. Congratulations to Bobby Ryan. May you get many more highlight goals like that, even against my Kings, as long as the Kings win. :D

Sweet goal, wish I held on to him in both my fantasy leagues. Got him back in one league though, once it seemed he will stay for good.

I am a huge Kings fan, but that was one of the best moves I have seen this season, also how do you blow a three goal lead and still win.

longboarder,
the ducks are the kind of team that can give up a three goals and have the skill to get back into it with guys like ryan getzlaf and now bobby ryan. however they are still very undisciplined and can get unnecessary penalties and end up blowing their effort. i see it all the time with philly. they'll work their butts off to get back into a game and take a stupid slash or interferance call. at least we're making it to OT and getting a point, but overcoming adversity is how you get good i guess

I would have to agree with Richard and others who recognized the sweet move Bobby made on the Kings... so roller-esque!

And Bobby is a huge role model for kids and a roller-to-ice poster kid himself.

I actually got his autograph on a slide built using him as just such an example - he dug it!

Oh, GO DUCKS! (just had to do that)

Nice Picture, Thanks for posting that. I'm going to print that out and hang it at the rink.

Beauty. It took this kid a while to get his chance, but he's sure making the most of it playing with the rest of Anaheim' skill guys! Is he still technically a rookie with a hot at the ROY?

Yes he's a rookie. He didn't play in enough games last year to qualify as a rookie back then.

I played pickup with him last year a couple times at the Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees; he's definitely got a good set of hands on him. I stopped about half the shots he took on me and I consider myself lucky to have done so well!

Very nice and humble kid too.
