snipers played smart tonight... controlled the puck pretty well, solid goaltending, which is something they have lacked.

Rosters anywhere anyone?

Here's the game of the day in St. Louis. It's not Pro, but it was a very interesting game in the Gold division....and yeah, it's all on tape (I haven't watched it yet). :)

Project Mission 6, Greasy Joe's 4 (shootout)

The game went back and forth all the way, but Project Mission seemed to have it won, leading by two with less than 30 seconds left after an empty-net goal by Kyle Novak (his second goal of the game) made the score 4-2. Brandon Barnette scored quickly for Greasy Joe's to cut the lead in half, and Shane Wilson tied the game in the final moments (IIRC, there were less than three seconds remaining), sending it to a three-man shootout.

In the shootout, Project Mission's Steve Reed stopped Greasy Joe's Marty Gwozdz, then Novak beat Greasy Joe's goalie Gregg Diepenbrock to put Project Mission ahead. After Reed stoned Barnette, Jalen Krogman scored to clinch the victory for Project Mission.

GREASY JOE'S: Brandon Barnette, Erick Cantrell, Gregg Diepenbrock, Neal Diepenbrock, Marty Gwozdz, Ian Mackie, Nick Syrigos, Shane Wilson (I think I'm forgetting at least one or two players).
PROJECT MISSION: Cody Baugh, Danny Brown, Mark Ell, Jalen Krogman, Kyle Novak, Jeff Perkins, Blake Propp, Steve Reed.

Those are some of the best personalities STL roller hockey has to offer. It was like a roller hockey cartoon. I'll try to get some video up soon.

Pro division in NY was awesome. Mudcats are the team to beat. Great goaltending by Leggat and the addition of Mac is HUGE! He had 3g and 2 secondary assists in which he created the whole play during the championship.

Pama looked beat in the finals...It seemed that they were a line deep with Osterkamp, Itan, and Gallagher on the same line I believe. If it was Redman in net he played great the whole tournament until he was left out to dry acouple times in the championship

Snipers team was good but just came up short. Penalties hurt them the entire tournament. An uncommon scene was when Thompson started throwing haymakers at the end of the semifinal pama game. He connected on acouple uppercuts.

I know Mudcats had Josh Laricchia...not sure if they had any more Revision Vanquish players...

Mac is not a new "addition" to the Mudcats, he has played with them before.

I wasn't there, but - yeah, Greg Thompson fighting is a truly rare occurrence. I sure would like to know what precipitated his involvement. My bet, someone took a cheap-shot at one of his teammates.

Congrat's to the Mudcats - nice to see them back in the mix.

Also, congrat's to the Savage Wolves, sure looks like they hung in there with the best of them.

My 91s and 90s where playing each other on the other rink at the end of the game. TORHS was nice enough to hang a HUGE banner in between the two rinks so you couldn't see like 3/4s of the other rink. I thought everyone was kidding when they said Thompson got into a fight. Greg told me he saw one of the Pama players cross check one of his guys pretty bad and he jumped in to help get the guy off of him and it just escalated.

Thanks Mr. Inge we are getting better every tourny but still struggling to find the right mix of offense and defense. It was good to score some goals but we gave up more this tourny than we have in awhile. Not a knock on anyone that played for us, I just thought the pro division was really solid and at times we struggled.
