I'm sure Michigan State would love another shot at Central Florida.
Eastern Michigan vs. Lindenwood rematch?
Also, the unbeaten teams (Lindenwood, MSU, Rutgers) should play each other, or at least have 2 of them play.
Lindenwood vs. Michigan State and/or Central Florida

Kleinberg- Michigan State has not received anything about a B team coming.... Im all ears, but the league doesn't want us to play anyone until nationals from outside our region i guess. Such a shame.

B Teams attending - Buffalo, Penn State, Towson, Rutgers, Drexel, Lindenwood Gold and Black, University of Michigan and possibly Eastern Michigan. LU, U-M and EMU were the first to request B team exhibition play. This event weekend is obviously going to be huge and the schedule will be very tight so there is still a question as to whether there will be room to fit EMU's B team.
Keep in mind, this thread was started to get input on game match-ups for the DI teams. Thanks!

WOW!
I guess I better get my plane tickets, this one sounds to good to miss.
Hats off to Central Florida for making the trip. It sure is nice to see this kind of commitment from all the teams involved for a regular season event.

Hey thanks for the hats off to us!! We all worked very hard down here to make this trip happen. We ran a fundraiser called "My Sports Dreams" and raised over $7k for the trip!! The whole team is very excited to head up there and play some new schools we haven't seen in the past!! We are hoping to get a pretty complete schedule with teams from each region attending!

Oh well - I would really liked to have gone, but when I checked the air flights into Pittsburgh, everything was non-jet aircraft. NO WAY you're getting me on a prop-job from Newark to Pittsburgh. ENJOY - I'm sure it will be great fun to watch.

Man up and drive.
Uhhhhhh....................... NO
I'd have to take Friday off and Monday off, no can do.
If I could fly out Friday night and return Sunday night (and not on "non-jet equipment") I could swing it. After driving out to Detroit sooooo....... many times for TORHS, I just can't hack the long drives anymore.
Plus, with the wife - alone - in the car for 5 hours, just shoot me now.

I occasionally take Southwest from Philly to Pittsburgh to hang out with friends on the weekend. Usually is pretty cheap and is not a prop jet...I don't know your travel time to PHL, but if your determined to do it, Philly to Pburg is a $40 one way ticket 90% of the time...

haha...yea..it was deff. possible for us to win that game if we dont do things in the 2nd qtr that we didnt do all season...but back to roller hockey...
yea it would be awesome for us to play against other Big 10 schools..so we have a rivalry built up sort-of..esp with Michigan and Ohio State....i'm pretty excited about playing some schools outside of the ECRHA, should be a fun weekend

Looks like US Airways (EWR to PIT), round-trip @ $115.00. That's do-able.

ps - yeah, I know what your point was......har, har, hardy, har, har.
pss - hardly ever watch my son play anyway, so I'm looking forward to the Lindenwood vs Michigan State match-up, the Buffalo vs Lindenwood and Michigan State match-ups, and the RU vs Ohio State and Lindenwood match-ups. Should be a really fun weekend. Really glad both rinks are in one place!

It sure is going to be hard on Saturday night at midnight watching two games at once:
Rutgers vs Ohio State
Buffalo vs Michigan State
Looking forward to the "buzz" at the rinks. I didn't go to Winternationals this year, so I need my "fix".

I am going to have a hard time deciding when to sleep this weekend. With four games and then all those exciting games to watch/report on, im not sure that i will be able to be awake for these two...

We here at Hot Shots Sports Arena are very excited to have everyone out for this weekend's college games. You will find that this is an ideal facility for this event. Games that are going on at the same time will be easy to watch because there are no walls dividing the two rinks. Both games can be viewed from our bleachers.
We wish everyone competing the best of luck! I know that the hockey community in the Pittsburgh area is looking forward to this event.
Have a safe trip!

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID ! ! !
We just got to the hotel and the ride on the PA Turnpike was fine, a few snow squals, but no accumulations. JUST NEED LOTS OF WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID or you will be driving blind. Lots of junk getting thrown up from the road surface by all the trucks.

Snow Squals? LOL
We (Me & My Sister) decided to head out really early today and headed to Blue Knob for some skiing. We hit the mountain around 10am and it was around 14 degrees out and slightly snowy.
By noon it was whiteout condition making skiing nearly impossible. A good amount of snow had fallen while we were skiing as we had a hard time getting the Explorer out of the parking lot.
Roads seemed to be in good shape elsewhere though.

Hi Folks,
It was 77 degrees in Burbank today, but with the air conditioning up fairly high at the local Starbucks, it was quite a bit chilly.
FYI. :D

It was rather warm here in Colorado today, around 55. Nice day to get out and take a walk. But somehow it was in the low to mid twenty's in the rink today, just something that reminded me why I prefer the inline game to the ice game. NO FREEZERS!!! ;)
