I can vouch for Danny he's a good kid and a good player he'd help any team in the Gold/platinum division

Danny,
Let me know if you want to play. We still need some guys for Winter Nationals.

Makes me wonder... has anyone started up any kind of site where a player can register saying they're looking for a team and then teams looking for players can hook up with them??

Hi goaliegoalie,

Not sure why you'd need an entire new site for that. I'm open to creating another message board folder for that purpose, if there's enough interest, however.

Hey goaliegoalie, Richard,
I think it's a great idea.
We are always looking for some extra guys last minute to fill a roster and this would make it a bit easier.
Thanks,
Brent

I thought, years back, that there was part of IHC for bios, etc. I don't remember the area but you could click on it from the home page. I heard about it approx. 2001 and looked it up. Didn't find any local players to help us out but did see a few that looked promising.

Hi Folks,

If I'm not mistaken, there was a site for this specific purpose, and it obviously failed. Please educate me. What is ineffective about the current situation where people post on IHC in the general topic area about looking for a player or a team? Doesn't that work fine the way it is?

If I make a message board topic about every issue known to inline hockey, the sport (and this site) will be more fragmented than it already is.

I can make this change in a heartbeat, but no one has convinced me yet.

Hey Richard,
Since RH is so fragmented in our area we have always struggled at filling a roster to go to tournaments. There are a bunch of guys that play together, but we do not have a year round facility and guys don't stick around. I have a handful of guys that are dying to play tournaments but we are always short 2-3 players. Having a page just for teams looking for players or players looking for teams would greatly increase our chances at filling a roster. Richard, It would simply streamline the process and maybe encourage more guys to play in some tournaments that may not have the opportunity.

Just a thought, maybe there arent as many people looking at the same forums, in regards to players looking for teams. If there was just one site for this then maybe players can find teams more easily. One forum for players to find teams, for all age divisions, so everyone is on the same page.

No, Richard. I don't think you need a different category for players looking for teams. This does it nicely.
