The Hartford Fireants did the organizations first podcast this past Saturday evening. The Ants hosted The Suffolk Sharks for the second meeting of the season. Brian Gilleece and Tim Coleman, players on our Minor team, did a great job.

Sounds great guys! Keep up the good work. On a side note, Tim Colman is nowhere near as good looking as the guy that does the color commentary for the Swamp Rats .

yes I agree. We are going to do video as well at our next game. They did a great job for the first time doing it. Hey Dave and yourself have placed the foundation of something that can help the AIHL and the sport. If more teams can do this it would be awesome.

Ruppy, I agree. I believe Gilleece got hit in the head during our minor games before he made that statement about the color commentary. You and Dave started something that I hope all teams try to do. It is a great way to promote the team and AIHL. That was my first time on mic and I didn’t realize how hard it was going to be until we started calling the games. It was a lot of fun!

The guys did a great job, Tyler DaSilva actually has posters of Dave on his wall, he idolizes him, which is why he whipped out the Boston/Gardner accent. It is a sad, yet intreguing lifestyle mr. DaSilva lives.

OHHH Baby! Caliente' HOT HOT HOT! After getting destroyed by what looked to be a far superior team in game 1 the Ants come back to the floor shot out of a cannon! This back and forth game is right down to the wire with goals from just about everyone you would expect to have one, including two from second star of the game Tyler "Marshmallow Hands" Myers, including the game winner in dramatic fashion off a Matt Zuba rebound handing the 10-0 NJ Savage Wolves their first loss of the year!
