Who are the best teams in the ECRHA B division.
This weekend in Pittsburgh
Buffalo 5 Towson 4
Buffalo 7 Penn State 0
Buffalo 6 Penn State 1
Towson 5 Penn State 2

That seems to tell you that any team can beat any other team on any day. Last year those 3 seemed to the class of the ECRHA B division. Granted I havent seen any game this year so my opinion probably isnt valid....

I would have to say that these 3 teams are definitely at the top of the list for the ECRHA B division. but you can't count out Drexel or West Chester who are also having great seasons. Second semester is going to be a battle all the way through Regionals so it should make for a lot of interesting hockey!!

I thought Penn State was supposed to be much better then they have been. Last year they were real strong, then this year they started out OK but got destroyed by buffalo and have lost too many games. Doesn't look like they'll be at the top.

Looks like Buffalo is running away with the ECRHA B.

Im on the psu B team, and I was last year as well. It is pretty simple what happened to us, graduation. 3 of our top 4 scorers graduated.

Speaking of Penn State B, we lost two nailbiters to them at Nationals last season, including a playoff game where we gave up the tiebreaking GWG with a minute left. Usually part of the bitterness felt after a tough loss has to do with a perceived lack of character or respect on the part of an opponent (real or contrived, it's just natural). But not them. They are all class...maybe the classiest team we played all year.

I can never forget those two games. In the first one I am the one who hit Alex Nebrig and got the 4 minute penalty. I wanted to step in his way to not let him get by me, and then it turned into me hitting him, bad. What I will never forget is the next faceoff when we were both out there he was next to me, he was not mad at all, and said that was a nice hit. That was when I knew that UMSL was a classy team.
We will get our act together, and heres to hoping we see UMSL at nationals again this year.
