(Despite a few inaccuracies and photo captioning/placement mistakes...)

I am stunned, amazed, humbled, thrilled, and pretty much floored by the recognition the team has gotten in this week's school paper. This level of coverage is simply unheard of. Color photos everywhere...tables, graphics...

When I was a little kid, sports existed in newspapers and magazines. Late '80s/early '90s. Not that long ago, but still, there was no NHL GameCenter, no DirecTV, etc. And I'm kind of a nerd anyway. Just like I do now, I wanted information overload.

So there's something special to me about seeing this, in print:

(And I got inspired to hammer this out in about 15 minutes: http://www.greatplainshockey.com/article.php?article_id=52987)
