I'm in NYC for a couple of days in November (the 7th and 8th) and would like to catch a game. Actually I will be making a trip or two a month for the next couple years to NY.
I think the only team in the AIHL or PIHA is the LI 459ers is that right? What rink do they play at? Where is it? Do they have a sked out yet?

Its the same drive up to Hartford Ct.

FireAnts play the mass mullisha on their home opener that night at 6pm.

Let me know if you are coming, we will set something up to show you around.

Thanks guys, and thanks for the offer Matt! I made a mistake, I will actually be there on the 18th -19th. I am staying either on 5th Ave in Manhattan or West Long Island and I don't have wheels. I doubt i'd have time to come up to Hartford this time, but I would definitely keep that in mind if I get a longer trip next time Matt. I'm hoping I can jump on the subway or bus to Skate Safe America or maybe to Suffolk. Not sure how it'll work but I'm looking it up. I'm sure the AIHL and PIHA skeds will be up by then. Thanks all.

If you are going to SkateSafe, you can take the LIRR from Penn Station to Farmingdale, and then catch a cab from there. It's about 2 miles away (the rink from the train station). There's also a bus that runs from near the train to fairly close to the rink, but that would probably only work to get there. Either way, expect the trip to take about and hour and a half.
