I would like to personally thank Steve for everything he has done for our sport!!!

I have had the priviledge of playing and coaching against Ying and I can further say that he was not only an ambassador off but on the rink as well - he would chat between face offs and lighten things up a lot, even during tough times. When the game was on, he was on - One of the most consistant players at the top levels, despite his size...jk Ying...and behind the scenes helped developmany different tools in marketing and game day production that most of us still use today. Even if his team wasnt playing, it never stopped him from heading off to the rink in the past few years, even bringing the kids along to watch a few games....Hopefully, if not now...future Lunatics.....or maybe Ying - future head coach???

Cheers for Mr Ying!!

Everyone spread the love and share a Ying story....Roger?!

Yings is an icon in this sport. I got to play with him in PIHA with the Typhoon for 4 years and the off at some tournaments... and you will never find a more determined guy that also liked to have a good time. If you weren't busting up laughing at some point in the trip, you're taking life Way too seriously.
Definitely gonna miss ya buddy.

As for good stories about Steve... All i have to say is Please refer to Any "Top 10" list that was posted in the Typhoon locker room. There, you will find Any and All great stories about Yings. haha.
