I just attended a clinic that Mike Hunt ran for the Junior Fire Ants in Plainville CT, and what a great job he did. It is good to see someone taking the time to help the sport of inline hockey. He is great with the kids and knows how to run a clinic. If any young players have a chance to attend a clinic, do not miss it.

I want to personally thank Michael Hunt and his incredibly talented young son, Cameron ;)))) for their commitment to the development and growth of inline hockey in New England.

I met Mike in April/ May while attending a tournament at the Enfield (CT) rink. At the time, I was just putting together the Junior FireAnts youth program and was fortunate enough to meet Mike during that visit to the arena.

After our teams attended the CT Nutmeg Games tournament, my coaching staff and myself met and identified several opportunities for improvement for our players and program. One of those areas included professional clinics with instructors that have experience in powerskating and a history of success teaching young players. One5 Hockey is a first class operation, and I can not say enough about Mike and his organization. It is only 1 day post clinic and I have had several inquiries for the next installment in what we hope will be a semi-annual clinic serie and partnership with Mike and Cameron.

Not only did Mike teach the kids some of the most important basic techniques necessary to be a solid hockey player, he made the players believe they could aspire to be something more. Our affiliation with the Hartford FireAnts was not by accident. This organization, just like Mike's is run with the intention of providing the best possible inline hockey for the players and the fans. Our young players left the clinic believing in themselves and with players like Justin, Hal, Zuba (everybody loves this guy..lol), Lisa and so many others helping out yesterday these kids are better players, individuals and team mates already.

Mike, continue to support the sport as you do. The Junior FireAnts are very thankful for your efforts and we look forward to our next clinic.

...and we would like to offer Cameron a sweeeeet deal to leave the Jr. Swamp Rats and play for the Junior FireAnts.... ;))))) After all, we have Zuba and lil Zuba....

Thanks Again!!!!!!!!!!!

Justin thank you for your participation, the kids look up to you guys and can not wait to see you all play in the coming weeks.

See you at the rink!!
