So what is everyones predictions for top 5 schools in both D1 and D2? No particular order

i agree not even close...the south dominates the secrhl...where is FAU they seem to have a strong roster and same with USF.

I think everyone knows who will be good in D1...UF,UCF,FIU...but in D2 I think anyone can win in this group then add CoC, western carolina, and Emory...looking forward to a good year

How different is this years Tampa team versus the team that was at nationals this year?

They are deeper on the bench...rowan porter is there that played with snipers junior team...and most importantly they have jeff kotcher for the hole year not just half...

Im pretty sure you can knock emory, USC, and JMU out of contention in D2 after this first weekend . . teams like USF, Tampa, Miami, Western, Elon were far and away the best teams at the tourney.

You think those were the best teams at the tournament of all the teams or just d2?

they tied elon...what i am trying to say is that it doesn't seem like you cant sleep on them..not saying they have a huge chance of winning D2 but they can pull upsets i think

Kennesaw isn't a bad team...they are very deep but have no standout players...I think they will pull some upsets this year...remember they were up 5-1 over elon in the third but just couldn't close it

I was being sarcastic guys....

Kennesaw DOES have some good players. They too were just getting on their skates . I know they tied Elon. A weak penalty caused the tying goal.

While they may not win the division, guaranteed they will not be the weakest. Just like this week end they did suprise some. They will get stronger.

In the game vs Elon I think they honestly ran out of gas...

So do the predictions stay the same?

UF-deep,strong and fast goin to be tough to beat
FIU-were missing some players still had strong weekend
UCF even though they lost to NC St.
NC. St.
ECU

D2:
Tampa-great week 1 showing
Miami-big surprise
USF-more than 5 players would move them up
Elon-solid team again
WCU-not really tested this weekend

Like I said before the SECRHL is dominated by the southern confernces with a combined record of 20-1-1 and 221GF to 62GA.

Tampa - Lots of Skill
USF - Solid Core of guys in my opinion could hang with D1 Schools if they had the whole team show up
WCU - I hear they are picking up guys that are comming back next semester
ELON - Could be higher if certain guys pick up their game
Kennasaw- Great first tournament

BCC is a scary team in Junior College. some of those guys have been on some excelent roller teams through the years
