incidentally where is nationals going to be this year and it better be in a state with a Yuengling distributorship? My supply from a recent trip to Florida is getting sparse and one can only last so long without the stuff. People ask if I have any left and I keep it locked and hidden and lie. One can only stand so much Inbevweiser and although I am a patron of Guiness, Yuengling is the best American Lager, counting all of the American lagers owned abroad. Thus, given a purview of the Yuengling website I note they distribute to all of the states bordering the Atlantic, minus Georgia, plus Tennessee. I say let Nationals be right in Pottsville, PA, but if not lets go somewhere on the Yuengling list. Having Missoura and Colorado the last 2 years leads one to suspect Wisconsin in next, but we may as well go to S. Africa for that jaunt.

I agree, Yuengling is the best lager in the states. Its my favorite perk of being in PA. They just started in the past few years moving into the markets outside of the Mid-Atlantic.

Brian Yingling has his own beer? Man, he really IS good.
Actually, I had some of that Yeungling stuff when I was in D.C. for the Euro Cup. I'd consider cleaning car parts with it, but drink it?
Saying something's the best American lager beer is like saying you're the best Olympic gymnast in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Sierra Nevada? You know I had a party last fall for the Mizzou-Oklahoma game. A friend brought over a 6-pack of Sierra Nevada. He drank one. A month later I drank one. Let me rephrase that I took a drink and emptied the glass. He returned for a Kentucky Derby party. There were 4 left in the ridge. He said hey I see you like the Sierra Nevada (I suppose thinking I had bought more) I played along and later poured them out in proper fashion. No he did not bet on Big Brown either. Recently he drank some of my Yuenglings. Never mentioned the sierra again. I will forgive you for you live in a foreign land. Do not refer to Sierra Nevada as lager nor ale again. Yuengling, Leinekugels original, Sam Adams, Michelob, Budweiser these are beers. When you head to the mountains just remember the brew stops at the end of Missouri and Wisconsin, unless, and with only one exception, I will acknowledge Anchor Steam from Frisco.

Additionally, to Mr. Bourque we are willing to pay handsomely for the shipment of Yuengling from PA to MO. In all seriousness have you ever had Yunegling premium or chesterfield? All they had in Fla was Lager, Light and black and tan.

Hi Madfred,
The Congolose gymnasts are great drinkers, just not great gymnasts. At their last party, they drank many great beers (not Budweiser; that is used to put out the fire afterwards), read bad Catch poetry and laughed and laughed.

Are you saying that you can get Yuengling beer here in California? If so where? I have tried and have had no luck. Another great beer that is equally as good that you can get here, and is sold at the Honda Center during Ducks games by the way is Smithwicks. Smithwicks can be mixed with Guinness to make what is called a Blacksmith. Great beer!
By the way I just got the chance to try Yuengling at AAU in Philly and it is an incredible beer.

It is really only available on the east coast unless you are talking about a specialty store.
Although all is not well with the great brewery that is Yuengling. The brewery management threatened to shut down the factory and close shop if workers kept union representation. The employees made the choice to agree with the company. As a result, Yuengling did not to renew a contract with Teamsters Local 830. Since that time Teamsters has boycotted the products. And many unions, including Local 1414 (one of two i am in) have had issues with their contracts because of what those employees did as it finally gave management a tool that could give them power over the unions. I could go into more depth but it would just be me rambling.

Hey Catch,
I'll compromise and bring Sam Adams. We can agree on that, right?
