Finally....we have some roster updates.
Arizona State is loaded!
http://www.ncrha.org/team.php?team_id=52550&area=roster
They look like an early favorite in the WCRHL (who's everyone else adding?).
ASU has nine good skaters (most of them are NARCh Platinum level players) plus two excellent goalies. They seem to have a good mix of youth (Long Duong, who tears up the State Wars '90 division every year, will be one of the best freshmen in the country) and veterans (Jeremy VanBuskirk led the PIHA Arizona Strike in scoring). I remember Brian Ganz from his days at LU -- he is a very good (and underrated) all-around player.
I was hoping this would happen for ASU. The state of Arizona seems vastly underrated as far as producing roller hockey talent. It is great that this group of players is being brought into CRH.
Looks like the competition only gets better this year!
Anyone else have updates? I'll post a detailed report on UMSL if we can get some more updates going.

School hasn't started yet. I'll have an idea who will be playing for Shippensburg this year once things get going. I've heard a bunch of positive about the guys who are returning to West Chester and incoming players as well.

Myself and Justin Harvey will be playing for Meramec this year. I'll post more when I find out who else will be playing this season.

We have a solid team but I'm worried about the WCRHL. I hear a lot about teams improving and I honesty think it'll be a tight race until the end. And I'm not being politically correct, if I thought we'd kick everyone's ass I would say it, haha. But we won't.
Also, you made Long blush when I showed him your post. He's a big fan of yours now, haha.
Long Beach State will be adding 4 Platinum players including Christian Bernad of San Bernardino and Paul Anderson from the OC BLades to skate along side their returning top scorer Ryan Burrows.
That's one of the rumors I heard. Now we know it's true.
This is why we're not taking anything for granted this year. The west is going to be real tough.

plus San Diego State is no longer an exhibition team and joining the WCRHL

Yeah, San Diego State will be strong. I also heard UCI is beefing up their roster this year after losing Middleton.
UNLV will be strong as always. I don't know much about any other teams. CSU Northridge has a partial roster up and they've got Vance Wilson from Revision Vanquish. Not sure about the rest of their team but that's a good start right there.

so sdsu is confirmed then? Last email I got said that the league hadn't heard from them yet. I was hoping they had disappeared. Either way, the dub is gonna be a lot more talented/balanced this year.

You won't kick everyone's ass, but for a CRH team, you've got a very accomplished group.

Just saw him play three weeks ago in Cincy, when Arizona and Missouri tied in the round robin of the State Wars '90 division...he went head to head with Cody Baugh (UMSL freshman) in that game.

Here's your UMSL update...
Everyone is back from last year except Ames, J. Cash, Lambert, D. Purk, and Shields.
We have six 5th year players: Clarke (finally!!), Holzum, Propp (that's a long O, for the record), Scott, Thompson, Wolfersberger.
Recruiting wrapped up yesterday, when Matt Endom enrolled at UMSL. This past summer, he was the goaltender for Tour Beemers in NARCh Pro.
We brought in two true freshman goaltenders, Jimmy Steger and Curtis Morrow. This gives us a total of five goalies. We brought in four true freshman skaters: Cody Baugh, Tyler Chapman, Danny Dwyer, and Damion Matteson.
We are very excited about our first "true freshman" recruiting class. We worked hard on recruiting this year, and it has paid off big time. The University has been a big help to us in this process.
There are several JC transfers as well. Chris Dolan, Marty Gwozdz, Drew Klos, and Justin Riley are the ones we know about right now. (Based on what I've heard about him, it's probably safe to predict that Gwozdz will be a major contributor on our DI team. I haven't seen him play yet.)
For the most part, I can't speculate as to who makes DI and who makes B, because we're having blind tryouts with very little consideration given to who's done what in the past (unless it's too close to call and a tie needs to be broken).
We haven't been authorized to officially name our coaching staff yet, but it has basically been assembled. Both DI and B will have new head coaches. Ben and I will be the DI assistants.
Damn UMSL sounds solid, Endom in net is huge.
Does anyone know, more than rumor, about who Lindenwood is returning this year? We know they picked up Sullivan. I'm assuming Gouge is coming back. But what about Fudge and Mac? I know people have posted threads about rumors of those two leaving but what's really happening?

From what I understand, they are both returning to LU.
