I was just informed by Sean Sullivan himself that he is officially leaving for Lindenwood University next week to begin fall classes and to start skating with there College Inline team, (which happens to be the nastiest team ever lol). He will also be playing on a St. Louis area PIHA team while living out there. I am posting this with Sean's permission, so this is not just a rumor. Again good luck to ya kid, and it's not gonna be the same playing against the Growl without you this season. Take care kid.
Beauchamp #17
P.S.
(I left Growl this season to play for the Revolution, incase anyone cared. No hard feelings to anyone, and I wish the Growl as well as the Savage Wolves guys all the luck in the world this season. It was a great time playing with you guys over the past 3 season.)

Wow already a great program and now they add Sully. Best of luck to Sully and Lindenwood should welcome him with open arms, your getting a great player.
Who will the growl have this year? With the Katinkskys and others playing with the Wolves and now Beauchamp with Revolution, who else is leaving.

another rumor ... fudge and mac both staying at lindenwood now. If that is true ... watch out ... with adding sully, lindenwood will have a near perfect season.
Justin, as for the growl, i think that they will be real good again ... rumor has it, ron tracy, redstreake, JD, Keats, JJ ficter, plus some of those minor guys are 18 now, lucente, campanaro etc. They will be solid. I think that there will be much more parity in our division this season... lots of splits.

Thanks for the info Billy. That will be a close division, with a lot of splits. Some great games too watch in that division. Was just curious if any other players were leaving. The Evil Empire is here to stay.

well i know me, ray, gene and dan only left because of travel .. became too much ... sullivan left obviously for lindenwood... Bobby to revolution... .no one left with bad blood, its a real shame we couldnt keep it together. But its over and done with. Having them pick ronny back up is a real nice pick up. He can fill the net and is deadly on the PP. Depending on what joey D does also will have an effect. If he stays there, they will be a favorite (still) in my opinion.

Thanks for the kind words Billy. Yes, the Growl will be back this season having fun, playing good hockey and I'm sure pissing some people off (take some pride in the nickname of "Evil Empire". Things will be very different this year, especially with you guys gone and the loss of Sully and Flynn no longer being with the organization. However, we have some tricks up our sleeves and having Redstreake on board as a co-owner is really nice. If there is anyone out there that I like working with other than Flynn, its Jim.
So, stay tuned for some developments, including the announcement of our home rink (Skaters Choice) and tryouts (September 6th, 12-2pm). Looking forward to a great season!!
