NJ Surge - AIHL TRYOUTS Sept 6th.

The NJ Surge will be entering the AIHL for the 2008-2009 Season.

Try-Out info:

Where : Morristown Roller Hockey Rink (under new management)
When : Saturday, September 6th
Time : 1pm (please come early for registration)
Cost : $25 For returning Stampede Players / $35 for new comers

Details : This is an open try-out. The owner of the team and two assistants will be selecting the roster for the Major and Minor teams. The top 24 - 28 players will be chosen. Please bring a white and dark jersey.

Hey guys, just a quick update. We have 30 players confirmed for try-outs thus far. There's 50 on our list whom we are waiting on confirmations from. Hope everyone has successful tryouts and good luck to everyone.

Just for an update. As of today we have 35 confirmed players coming to the try-outs! Still confirming more players each day as well. I look forward to seeing everyone at the skate!

Just for another update... We are at 40 Confirmed Skaters thus far. Looks like it should be a good turn-out. Again, I invite anyone and everyone to come for the try-out. We now have 4 Team Consultants who will be selecting the players from this try-out, so the field is wide open!

Try-outs were a huge success!

I'd like to thank the 35 players who came to the tryout and I'm pleased to say we were able to make some excellent picks from the turn out.

Players who make the team will be notified by tomorrow, as we will be having practice Saturday September 20th @11am-1pm and 2pm-3:30pm. It will be our first double session, with a second to follow on September 27th.

Again, thank you to everyone who showed up, it was a great skate with some excellent talent!
