It seems to be both leagues have teams listed.
Am I correct in assuming that the teams listed on the AIHL site have left PIHA.
Good luck to those teams left in PIHA the travel should be fun.
Good luck to those teams in the AIHL your travel should be the same as usual.

The FURY is in the AIHL.
I guess PIHA will remove us when they feel like it.
Fine with me. It just generates more hits on my website!

Gene -
I know what you're talking about. At work, PC running Windows XP, I have the same problem. However, at home, MAC running OS X Leopard, the PIHA site's new headers work even better than ever. It seems that PowerPlay Stats made some changes, but the site looks better than ever.
Only thing I can't find is anything that has anything to do with the 2008-2009 team list.

Does anyone have any info on the team listed on the AIHL site as the Garden State Stars? Is that the old Stampede or a new team?

It's a new team being run by Neal Hecht. I think they are playing out of Inman.

Jack, the team out of Morristown are still in. They are now the NJ Surge not the Stampede. They will be run by Chris Havelock and two others.

Thanks....looks like there can be a North Jersey Division , you got about 3 teams up there already. Is Tab Ramos or Rahway putting a team in next?

Not sure, I know that there has been rumors they might. It would be good because they would have a good team.

It was my understanding (hear say) that Tab Ramos was putting a team in PIHA.

why PIHA, what teams would they play? The Surge, growl, Fury, grizzlies, Revolution, Demolition and the Stars all play in the AIHL. I am not trying to start a debate, if they do play PIHA great but who would they play.

I had the same thoughts... But who knows only time will tell. Again, like I indicated this came second hand.

Let me ask a simple questions...... There will be teams in Morristown, Wallington, Edison and lets say Ramos. Is there enough talent to draw from in that area to field 4 quality major and 4 quality minor league teams?

great question, I think maybe. Tab Ramos has there own players and will make a good pro and minor teams. ISCA have there own players and are already well established. Now in the past I thought that if Edison and Morristown both had teams it would be a problem. I think that both can have good minor teams. With hard work and good coaching they can have good pro teams. Very tough division to play in.
From what I hear, Edison already has a number of players and that they are not pulling from MO Town. I think both rinks are far enough apart that they would have no affect on each other. Now from what I know in Morristown, they have a number of talented players coming back from College.

If the Savage Wolves are out of Inman, then who are the Stars? And where are they playing out of?

If i am not mistaken the stars/wolves are the same team. I believe that there will be a name change for the AIHL.

For you IE heathens, menus should be working in 6.0 and 7.0 now on both sites.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would like to see an updated teams list of actual teams who have "ponied up" to either league. Does anyone have a list besides the powers of PIHA and AIHL?

I agree with Ronnie. Some of the teams out there need to announce what league they are playing. It is almost September and there are a lot of teams out there who have made no public announcement. Does not matter to me because my whole division has made there announcements but there are some teams that have and the surroundings team to them have not.

With the sale of the rink and the baby I am playing with CT. I would like to still play in MO Town with my friends but with a 2 teams 20 mins from my house, It is the smart choice. Plus I do not think my wife would let me. Are you still in Mo Town?
