I have a rules question re: TORHS Nationals.

It's "water under the bridge", because the team in question lost their last pool play game and were subsequently eliminated from the playoffs, but isn't a player who receives a GAME MISCONDUCT suspended from the teams next game?

Ian, a little help here?

You have correctly stated the Game Misconduct rule (out for the remainder of that game plus the next game) according to the rules on their website. But every tournament I have EVER been to has always had that good old loophole "at the discretion of the tournament director" that seems to negate any rules that were previously stated/used.

Dude how is it going?

I was talking about Ian Mackie.

I don't think NLane is Greasy Joe's Ian Mackie. Ian Mackie signs on under his name.

Nlane is his mother.

Maybe I am wrong, Ian from Virginia?

Yes, Dave...I'm Ian Ward's Mom, and no I didn't think that the post was meant for my Ian. I just figured I'd answer the question. Ian has been a referee at TORHS regional meets in Williamsburg ages ago but I can RTS (read the screen) as good as the next person!

I've reffed a bunch of Torhs tourneys including nationals and Nancy is 100% correct. The tournament director can (and sometimes does) make discretionary rulings that can shorten suspensions in the interest of the tournament.
