Virginia Militia Announce Open Try-Outs

Location: Williamsburg Indoor Sports Center (WISC), Williamsburg, VA
Dates: Saturday, August 23 & Sunday, August 24, 2008
Time: 8-9:30 PM
Cost: $40 per player required at signup - tryout fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and pays for either session or both. Attendence at both sessions is strongly advised.

We are looking to fill 2 teams.

Players must bring the following to tryout:

- Full inline hockey gear
- Light and Dark colored jersey
- Proof of Age (Age 16 by Dec 1 minimum)

All players are required to arrive at least 30 minutes (7:30PM) to fill out paperwork.

Players interested in getting in some pre try-out practice time are encouraged to attend weekly practices at 10:30pm every Tuesday night at WISC. There is no charge for these practices.

Which league is your team playing in?

from my understanding since I play at the rink and am going to be trying out and I practice with the team every Tuesday after league games. I think that we are going to be in which ever league Richmond is going to be in. That is because of distance from each other as well as hoping to start a rivalry in whichever league we both decide to enter in.

Garrett is right. We intend on playing in the AIHA, and it is our understanding that Richmond will be doing the same.

Richmond is definetely committed to the AIHL. They were in attendence at the initial meeting and left no doubt about their intentions.
