Hi Folks,

Got a late start today, but did get a story up on the Home Page about the international teams at the event. Having teams from many different countries definitely adds to the excitement and interest, at least for me.

One of the neat things about the tournament is that Sony is letting attendees borrow a camera for an hour to take shots of the event. I borrowed one yesterday, but jet lag fogged my brain and I shot without flash and through the glass. Today I switched from automatic to aperture-priority with flash, and took photos from the penalty boxes. Though I couldn't get decent shots at distance, I do feel I got some interesting shots of the action along the boards. I also opened the penalty-box door for a succession of Australian players in their game against Colombia. ;)

Sony will put those photos on a CD Rom for me, and I'll try to get some of them up on IHC shortly.

Included here are a few of the better shots from yesterday...

Howdy Falcons77,

I think I heard something about that game and the phrase, "Changing of the Guard," but I was probably too busy trying to remember how to use a real camera. ;)

Here are some more photos from the event today. I was much happier with my effort today than yesterday. I believe I shot three games -- you can only borrow the camera for an hour at a time...

Hi Folks,

Guess I had another brain fade yesterday. I was calling it Sunday, when it was Monday. Thanks for letting me know, people! lol.
