Heard rumors that Johnny Mac wasn't happy at Lindenwood. But, you know rumors. I just took a peek at his Facebook page and no sign of Lindenwood, not even an .edu email address. Any truth to the rumors?

I actually heard he was unhappy with the situation in Missouri, but who wouldn't be living in a random state like that, all he got was a ring!
Anyone in their right mind would either leave or not attend that school. The best team is the roller and ice hockey team that are CLUB sports, they're not affiliated with the NCAA and some bogus division NAIA, as well as having no campus life.Rumors stated that he was looking to come back home to the island to play with old time friends at Stony Brook or play for rebuilding the Hofstra team. Wouldn't be surprised seeing him playing for any ecrha team. He has ties with all of them.
don't blame him at all, but there's always mizzou and umsl... but then again you're still in that god forsaken state MO

Now don't hold me to this, but I think I remember that while we were out in Colorado Springs for NCRHA Nationals, someone told me they had been talking to Mr. Mac and he commented that next year he wouldn't have to miss as many of his son's games as he did this year.
Now, that could mean he'll be playing PIHA for the 495'ers. Or, it could mean something entirely different, like the Mac family moving to the St. Louis area (kinda far fetched, I know).
Who knows? (sounds like Vio does though)
If I had to take a guess, and by process of elimination (with everyone else's guesses trashed by Vio), in the ECRHA, I'll throw my 2 cents in that it's Rhode Island with several Long Island guys on that team. He would fit in fast there. Would be a great pick for Rhode Island, good team and a nice bunch of guys.

Mac has a press conference scheduled during the Midget Platinum block at Narch to don the hat of the school he will be attending next year.. here are the odds...
Grambling U.- 5-2
Oxford U. (London)- 10-1
Big State U.- 15-1
Al Qaeda Institute of Flight- 100-1
All three have fledgling inline hockey programs, but look out Lindenwood.
p.s. He was also offered a full scholarship to play Pogs at Harris-Stowe University in St. Louis, but Mac refuses to use a Slammer that weighs less than 12 ounces, therefore turning down this incredible opportunity.

I'd take a piece of that action and put my money on Grambling U.
It's nice to have a little fun with this topic. However, out of respect for the victims of 9-11, I think your "Al Qaeda Institute of Flight" is way out of line. But, different strokes for different folks.
Peace.

You're right. Its either Pick some corn in Missouri or pay for gas in New York, but I am guessing he will get a cotton picker in South Carolina

hopefully mac will end up at towson. I thinking of going there myself and I would enjoy playing with him instead of against him all the time. As I understand it another player on my team (one of our top defenseman) is considering returning to towson.
Hopefully mac will see this and give TU a strong consideration

Towson has an awesome program. It would be very cool to see JMac in a Towson uniform.

that was an interesting piece of the umsl sbu game very controversial almost similar to don imus and the rutgers womens bball team lol..
do you have the full game? if so you should put it on youtube, it seems that you only have clips of different segments, its rare to have those two meet in a round robin game.

Yeah, I decided to just kind of let it hang out there.
The problem with Youtube is that it limits the size of videos. Otherwise I'd have full games up all over the place. Clipping them up into pieces is a pain.

well, you could always compress the file and then upload it to a site like http://uploadhosted.filefront.com/ and let people download it themselves.

I reckon I should have jumped in on the post a little ways back and clarified the relocation of Mac. It appears to me he is down to 3 choices:
1. the Louisianna Cougars
2. Harrison University in upstate New York
3. dropping out of school and heading to Benton Arkansas
I reckon some of you fellas really like this Towson state eh uh. Looks to me like that school of flight might not be such a good choice given the survival rate of the graduates. I hear Harrison has quite a fraternity maybe this Mac fella would like to join, but they have real good mustard biscuits and french fried tators down in Benton. There might be an opportunity there in Benton to join Carl's school of lawnmower repair and get some first hand experience in using the blade as a tool or weapon.

Awesome, thanks for the tip.
I'm uploading the UMSL-Stony Brook game to that site right now (the other angle -- the one that's not on YouTube -- it's similar because they ended up standing next to each other for the last two periods without knowing it).
I've been looking into using Bittorrent as well.

what is it saved as
The UMSL game vs Eastern Michigan needs to be watched by the NCRHA or Head of League Officals cause thats possiably the worst officiated game I've ever witnessed for either team.
I feel bad for both teams and can't even believe thoes refs were allowed to ref college nationals much less be working in this league.

Go to http://hosted.filefront.com/UMSLhockey. Click into the "Nationals 2008" directory. Nationals videos are the only thing that's up now, because I'm trying to figure out just how "raw" I want the videos shot from the bench to be. I hate to mute the audio completely, but I might have to mute large portions of it (for obvious reasons).
That site is cool, but sometimes they're hard to upload -- often the upload cuts off at the very end, which is frustrating. But I'm trying. The Stony Brook, Eastern Michigan, and Florida games are all up. Full games. They're WMV format, 16:9 widescreen.

There was an Eastern player running around trying to start fights during and after the postgame handshake...no repercussions...and an UMSL guy got suspended a game for pulling his hand away when this Eastern guy wouldn't let go of it during the handshake. I didn't understand that.
You can see it for yourself if you download the third period of that game from the Filefront site. The camera was still rolling for a few minutes after the game was over. Watch #90 in dark through the handshake line...all I see him doing is trying to pull his hand free from the idiot who wouldn't let go of it. They suspended him a game for that.
Yea Meade, he texted me that night and told me all about it, I figured he was leaving something out but you can clearly see what happened.
Its pretty bad NCRHA can't get solid reffing at the NCRHA Nationals of all places...Bad for them and bad for the teams playing.

One thing that has the Pirates excited is the rumor that John McGuinness may be in the lineup opening night. McGuinness member of this past summer’s NARCh pro Tour Mudcats, may be moving to South Carolina to attend college in the fall. If he does, the Pirates already have a uniform with his trademark number 66 ready to go for him. “Johnny Mac could be the greatest thing since sliced bread in SC”, GM Jones had to say.
