I have heard that Travis Fudge is hacked over being dissed by the World team and is choosing between UMSL and his native Missouri State. May be a real interesting scenario

I just heard the same thing apparently some desire to play for either the school his brother coached for years or secondarily perhaps a desire to wear an UMSL uniform.

How did Fudge get dissed by the world team?? What happened?

Damn Missouri State trolls. :D

I heard all season long that Fudge was going to Missouri State next year.

(There were whispers about him possibly going to UMSL last year, but nothing ever came of it. I have no idea how much truth there actually was to any of the rumors, because I never talked to him about it. Probably not much.)

If he ends up at Missouri State, he'll be the best player in DII by far, and might carry them to an unbeaten season. Mark it down. He's that good.

Missouri state was unbeaten last year. until we bellied up at nationals. as it turns out for those that do not know Pete Chilcutt tore his acl in the sluh game at regionals, played in nationals, but was unable to turn. Fritz vasquez played with a broken foot. excuses are excuses. we are working on our roster and ought to have a very high quality team as the season approaches. Unfortunately Pete will be out until the spring. There are several big additions coming. While I could blame Kent Desormaux and would like to for ruining the Belmont, I will acknowledge that Dutrows disaster coincided with the stock market plunge. And with that said i want to thank the coaching staff from SLUH and Truman for their first class support of us in nationals. It was the best season we have had and hard to take the inability to finish it off. I challenge anyone who says Fudge will be the best D-II player. He is the best D-I player, but Dan Black whooped up on most of our team post haste. The real catch Broke his hand over Blacks shouder at nationals as a sign of support and mr. greenthumb and the man whose name rhymes with duff beer took their parting shots. certainly fudge is but brown, but black is the class of D-II

Catch- you suck. I hope your home is invaded by an endless herd of reptiles. You should be permanently banned from posting on the forums, not just the 3 month ban you just survived. You have the IQ of a fish, perhaps.

i heard he signed a lease on a house in springfield. however, should he go to umsl i would strongly advise all to wear a suit of armour for practice or face the wrath of injuries.

I think train needs to crawl into a shell with catch on your guys vacation together. And lets be honest, Mike Ruff does not have that good of a slap shot. And first of all J Lambert doesn't even play hockey; he video tapes it. hahaha. Stick to doing that James your better at filming then living on the forums. Train you should just go into a closet and pull your goalie. I feel that UMSLs best game would be against MSU. Thats It.

Hey coward...

I was joking about Ruff's slapshot....because he uses it all the time. Do you kind of get it now or do I have to explain it in more detail? And first of all, I think you meant to put that sentence at the beginning. But you're obviously afraid to post your real name, because then everyone would know how illiterate you are. I can't wait to find out, though.

He may be the best player in roller hockey, period. When he's in top form, he's the best player I've ever seen.

It's possible. But on a good day, Fudge is on another level....IMO at least.

"that guy" the assertions you make concerning the train and myself are perplexing. You hide behind an undisclosed name unlike the train. I wonder if your reference with respect to the closet symbolizes your true obsession. Is "that" guy a play on words from the old movie titled "that girl"? Climb back into the caboose and keep pulling up the rear. Never trash the train. Stop the train was employed for that purpose. i guess I'll create a that jack ass now.

Fudge was on the news last night in Springfield penning a comittment to MSU.
Mike Ruff was there shaking his hand afterward and boasting that natural light snowmen don't grow beyond the queen city of the ozarks.

I know what the topic was, and it was intended to be a friendly jab. :D

From one random thread (quick search):

We have the best penalty kill in the country anyway so.......

AH might be the best ref in the country.

Just sayin'. And my response was far more pertinent than anything catch ever posts!

LOL, okay okay....but for the record, I do believe we have the best PK in the country (any PK with PJ Tallo and Andy Meade, and Adam Clarke, and Eric Thompson, is going to be fairly nasty...yes, it's better than Lindenwood's kill; I firmly believe that)...

And as far as fair, consistent, non-egotistical, non-emotional, highly professional referees who just call the game, Andy Hayes is the best I know of. MIGHT be the best out there.

Usually I do say "may be" or "might be." :)

Sorry James...... While Meade Clarke and Tallo are wonderful players......it could be close but I dont think, better.

James, your pk is only as good as your goalie and I don't think Tommy Ames is the best in the country. :D

I'm specifically talking about penalty killing though. Those guys might not be better players than Lindenwood's top three, but on the PK they excel. Tallo is just unbelievable at the top of the triangle. They try to run the box and he's blocking shots from both guys up top. They try to run the diamond and nothing crosses the middle. He blocked six shots from up top (four from Gouge) during that March 2 Lindenwood game.

There was one play in the first period of the Eastern Michigan game where we were shorthanded 4-on-2, Clarke fell down trying to get to a loose puck, and it ended up being three-on-Tallo right in front.......and the next shot on goal was PJ's shot going into the net at the other end. Who ever heard of a team taking three penalties in the first five minutes of the game and leading 4-0? That doesn't happen against anyone, let alone a solid team like Eastern.

There was also the 4-on-2 against Long Beach State, during the third period, with Clarke and Tallo in the box, where Meade and Thompson held them to just one or two shots on goal. IIRC, the game was tied.

Oh yeah, George....Tomy did shut out the LU power play three times during the first period on Nov. 18. :)

This is what the video's for......maybe I'll post an UMSL PK reel. :p

(Don't kill me everyone...please??)

James, when the title was on the line, he and the best pk in the country allowed 3 goals on 4 opportunities. Enough said! ;)
