Hey guys,

I know there was some talk about this awhile ago in the nationals thread but I thought I would get the ball rolling and start a thread for posting any and all videos from the 2008 NCRHA National Championships.

I'll start everything off with Ohio State vs. Lindenwood. I also have footage from our games against UCI and Mizzou - Columbia that should be up in a couple days if I have time.

I have a slightly higher quality version as well that I could possibly bittorrent if people are interested... But the youtube quality actually wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be.

Also, please give me some feedback on the score overlay so I can modify it for the other 2 games if I need to. I think it gets in the way a little bit on some shots, but I don't really know if this outweighs the benefits.

Good work - you'd probably get by with a smaller overlay and school abbreviations with smaller logos (think FSN or something similar) - it'll block out less.

Yea, I think I will try that. Initially I wanted to make it kinda big because I wasn't sure how the youtube compression would affect smaller text, but it seems like it was scaled down fine.

why don't you just put it on filefront.com and just let people d/l it themselves? Use youtube as a secondary source

I considered a file-sharing site, but most of them have relatively low per-file size limits (<250 MB is most cases). The original files, even when compressed are about 1 GB per game so I can't share them easily that way. I could split them or compress them more, but that would pretty much nullify any benefits that exist over youtube.
