Just was informed By Anthony Flynn that the Growl Pro Swept the Lunatics by the scores of 4-2 and 4-1.

Blaze swept the Pirates, not sure of the scores but I think they were 7-4 & 4-3 not 100% but Blaze face the Growl starting tonight.

Congrats to Blaze and growl. The way the growl have been sweeping teams, I say the growl will win it all.

I wouldn't count the Blaze out so quick, considering most of Blaze leading scorers are the defending champs (Boston Roller Rats) add in Johnny P & a few other talented guys. I think this series could go 5 but I'll take the Blaze in 4. Gotta back my ex-team mates here.

Congrats to both teams making it this far & good luck to the eventual East Champ in Colorado.

Pinheiro amazed me....I had heard the hype, but now, I, myself was impressed with he and Goulet. Good luck to both of them with the PIHA East coast finals.

Pinheiro is an amazing player to watch and like I have stated before goulet is the most under rated player in the league. He has had over 100 assist in two seasons. A player any team would want. Any updates from MD

Blaze win in 5....

Pinhiero is unreal... Mustve had 15 goals today, single handidly beat us...

On our side though, we were gassed... While jp was the only offensive threat, the rest of the team did their job and grinded us down to the point of exhaustion.

Also, they never quit, we lead in every single game, big at times, and they kept plugging away, def deserved it more today

Both teams played a very hard series. GREAT hockey, excellent sportsmanship, and effort from both sides. CT Blaze just wouldn't give up!

AWESOME to watch! Both teams, ALL players!

The whole weekend went on-time, and as planned. Players, coaches, officials, and fans appeared to really enjoy the weekend. Hats off to the Maryland Knights guys for once again hosting a class act.

Good luck to the CT Blaze! Bring the crown to the east boys!

Great weekend all around. The games were amazing. Pinhiero and Sullivan were incrediable to watch. Redstreak for the growl was great to watch also he scored a number of great goals, including the one where he reached back from behind the net to tuck it in. Great work by the Blaze guys to turn things around after the first game. Best of luck in Colorado

special thanks to the growl guys for letting myself and matt come out to lunch with you all, it was a blast. Congratulations on a great season.

What a great weekend. A tremendous job by all four teams for their participation, great sportsmanship, and dealing with several sub par situations out of our control.

I'd also like to point out the great job done by the three officials who worked all of the games. Amazing effort on their part.

A very special thank you needs to go out to the Capital Club House staff, the announcer who did a wonderful job and put a lot of passion into his work (sorry i didnt catch his name), and especially to Alan Simpson who went above and beyond all weekend.

It really is a shame that their was not a bigger crowd for the event. The Conference Final series was as intense and competetive as I have ever seen in this league in its six years in existence.

I think we are all disappointed that the league didn't have a representative on hand at all on Sunday to present the Blaze with a trophy or anything. There were a handful of other team representatives on hand to see the action and it was nice to sit down and share stories together with them.

A great weekend! Congrats to Bill DiNapoli, Johnny Pinheiro, and the rest of the Blaze.

There have been a zillion rumors flying around, but allow me to set the record straight. The Growl will play hockey in 2008-2009.

Flynner:

I agree with most of your statement and posted my views in the private sector.

Congrats to CT. Pinheiro is amazing and the league should start promoting the kid....his play is exciting to watch while your figuring out how to catch lightning in a jar....

Let me set you straight...the Pirates will play hockey in 2008 - 2009

is the question "where" will the two respectable teams play? because i too have heard much...i'm not sure if you were leaving a little cliff hanger by not saying "growl will play PIHA 2008-09", just "hockey"?

The rumor I just heard yesterday, was that lower level management with in the Growl organization will be starting their own league. I will not reveal my source, but my source heard it straight from the horses mouth.

That's dirty Anthony, straight up dirty. My one defense every time someone gives me crap for my post and replies is that whatever I have to say, it's the truth. I hold no punches and tell it like it is, whether people like it or not. Most people don't. But I will go out as someone who has integrity and speaks his mind. Regardless of the bashing I may receive, my post and replies will be honest and factual. Now excuse me if I don't reply to your response right away, for I will be packing for Colorado.

I suggest double checking your source. No one in the Growl Organization is starting a new league. That is the truth!

This gets back to the same arguement we constantly have Roger. I have no problem with you as a person or as a player. Just simply stop talking on public websites about things you have no real information about. That was my problem with you during our last go round. You chose to make it personal and it was all down hill from their. I'm asking you nicely to please think twice before writing things you are not involved in.

Growl lower management? Isn't that me?

I'm doing what?

I'm too busy sorting pics from the Eastern Confrence Finals, but I might have some free time next week.

Now I am interested in starting a professional bubble hockey league but that's really a long term vision.

I would consider you more mid-level management within the organization. Perhaps it is Spike who is starting his own league.

Roger is a backup goalie dbag with a big mouth, he always will be. Ask him how his actions were last year in Colorado.

Now listen here, I take exception to the backup goalie part, LMAO!! The dbag with a big mouth I can live with. Heck, I've been called worse, by my own Mother. My actions last year in Colorado, well that was last year, get over it. How many sleepless nights are you going to have about an event that happened a year ago. You need to move on and enjoy life today. Smell the roses, enjoy family and friends, go see a movie, but for God sakes, get over last year. Nobody likes a loser. Oh yea, about the backup goalie thing, hmm, let's see, I won the Eastern Conference Finals last year, our other tender didn't show, and went on to split games to win the Championship. Now this year, I played 90% of our games, came in second in wins, (should have been tied for first had Marple entered the stats) and won the Eastern Conference Finals again. Once again heading back to Colorado. When your name is on the Founders Cup, then you're aloud to speak up, until then, get yourself to the nearest therapist so he/she may help you get over that traumatic, life altering event you suffered last year watching me play for the cup. I hope you don't go this year, should I raise my voice too loud at a referee, someone might find you hanging in the closet.

i heard that flynn is starting the "Extreme Pro Major Speed International Inline Hockey League".

There will be recessed nets, ramps in the neutral zone, and a new innovation: no side boards, just chain link fencing so there can be cage fighting as well.

Im not trying to start any rumors, just showing how ridiculous it is to speculate on things.
