Dragons over the Mustangs in a clean sweep


East Semifinals

Growl over the Lunatics in three (Though this series could be a coin toss)

Blaze eats the pirates for dinner in 2 games

West Final

Thunder in 3 game sweep over the Dragons -- I guess Charley got his wish and this is one less team to fly to the finals. Oh wait that means he gets to keep more money in his pocket!

East Final

Blaze will beat the Growl in 4 games.

I won't comment on our series ... but i hope we win .... although the Lunatics are no pushover.... we played 2 preseason games with them that had the atmosphere of the conference finals. should be a great series... im predicting it to go 3.

Blaze over Pirates in 3. I think the Pirates will surprise the blaze in game 1. But then Johnny P will show people how he breaks ankles all over the floor and bring them to victory.



In the west.

Snipers over Thunder in 3.... i think i posted in another post about this, but the sinpers are real deep and real fast. They did just beat the Tornados who were loaded with talent this season.

Dragons over Mustangs in 2... i do not know much about this division but i know some of the dragons and they can play. I think they will beat the mustangs.

The next day the snipers will win in 4 games sending them back to colorado for the finals!

All 8 teams in both conferences better be ready to play a lot of hockey in a very short period of time. Could be up to 8 games played in less than about 26 hours.

Western Conference Schedule:

Sat. May 31 Snipers vs Thunder (best of 3)
12:00, 12:45, and 1:30
Mustangs vs Dragons
2:30, 3:15, 4:00

Finals (best of 5) Sat May 31
Games 1 & 2 8:30 and 9:30 pm

Games 3, 4 & 5
Sun June 1 11:30am 12:15, 1:00

Blaze in 3 real close games over South Carolina. Hopefully, Pirates live up to the hype but can't bet against Connecticut.

Growl over Lunatics in 3, don't think Growl will have another early exit this year.

Some guys tell me I'm crazy for this, others on here agree but I think Snipers beat Thunder in 3 real close games. Thunder barely escaped their division. Snipers beat a 2-loss Tornado team. Snipers are deeper and faster.

Never seen Nor Cal Mustangs play so who knows how we'll do against them.

All the info is up on the site now for the Eastern Conference Finals. I called today to get the times so those have been added as well. I got tired of seeing nothing, so dont hang me if you see something missing, or I didnt mention Joe Blow from Idaho.

Congrats to all the eight teams that made it to the finals, and lets make it some great hockey. Leave the drama at the doors.

I'll bring my laptop and post the scores from San Jose on this forum for at least the first few games on Saturday. Hope we get a lot of fans there, as rec players and parents will be there in the morning and early afternoon.

Oh, one last thing. For those of you traveling to San Jose on Friday, the rink will open until at least 11 pm for high school games if you want to check the facility out. The restaurant and sports bar will be open, and high school games will be playing. You'll probably meet lots of inline hockey folks who are happy to welcome you.
