They all deserve to be there. I'm not doubting that. But at the same time, when you don't recognize a name and know of some other talented players, it makes you wonder.

I know johnny tried out for the iihf team USA a few years back and just missed making it.... In the past the usars team tryouts have been extremely political, with the invitations to tryouts at least... With all the youth it looks as though that is changing, which is nothing but positive for our sport...

One thing I would like go see is an open tryout before the main tryout.. There is too much unknown talent in our sport for an invitation only tryout.
