Is this happening this year? Are all-regional teams being chosen/playing in NaRch?

Regions are working on their Rosters for NARCh (Deadline is May 24th for Jersey/Pants orders. If you know of someone who wants to play for their region that hasn't been contacted, please let your region director know! Thanks!

Players are chosen by the Region, unfortunately, not all are able to take part in the tournament. Players who will be representing each region will be announced according to the rosters submitted by the deadline date. All of course, will work to have their strongest team and most deserving players on their rosters.

Steve...i just got an email form Ed sayin that last time he sent out the email he only got six names from teams. So unless people send him the people from thier teams they think should go then he said there wont be a team from the southeast.

Nothing really goes to plan when dealing with things being announced by the NCRHA.

That would be a shame.

College Roller Hockey needs a solid feeder system and there are none better than NARCh.

NARCh and the NCRHA seem like they're made for each other.

there are teams....I guess its just taking a little longer to put together final rosters than they anticipated. Some players don't return phone calls/emails then you have to find alternates. It's harder to get these guys on-board then you would think, I helped confirm the players for the WCRHL team and it was a hassle.

I hear you. The confluence of "college student," "summer vacation," and "roller hockey player" seems to produce an unholy trinity of uselessness when it comes to communication and/or scheduling. That's fairly anecdotal on my part, except with a sample size of over 60 individuals that I've tried to communicate with on our teams over the years during the summer, I'm pretty sure I'm closer to the truth than I want to admit. That's on the players for being worthless with contact info.

That said, it's on the league for not getting this stuff done sooner. An easy way to do it would be to pick from the divisional all-stars and announce teams at each respective all-star event. Then again, that would probably result in backlash from people angry at not being picked mid season, and given the general childishness of a fairly large portion of the league, it's probably in the league's best interests to hold off until after the season is over so they don't have to deal with the people in question.

Honestly, it's 50% of the league being generally late to market with nearly everything, and 50% the fault of the players for exacerbating things through blow-offs and ass-hatery.

Four Regions have submitted their teams at this point. Anticipated having everything completed three ...whoops..four days ago...but a few regions are still finalizing their selections.
Thanks for hanging in there.
If I don't have the others by the weekend, I'll post those I do have. We are looking forward to participating in NARCh this year full strength with all 7 Regions represented!
Appreciate all your thoughts on the how's and why's and there is some truth to all. One thing I've learned is patience and persistence in working in the college realm!

I can confirm that I'm not on the team, so that's one mediocre goalie off the list. Anyone else not on the team, step up and post now. Let's whittle this down with some sort of procedure that, uh, eliminates the ones who didn't get picked.

Sorry guys,

I think they were planning to post this on the main NCRHA and regional sites, but I had some issues w/ the article posting system that weren't allowing them to post.

It's been fixed now so I would expect them soon!
