Attention Hockey Players of the Mattawan School District; Get Out The Vote!
Go to the polls today, Tuesday, May 6, to select two board of education members from a field of three candidates seeking to fill four-year seats.
Among your candidates is Jeff Dufon - a member sympathetic to your causes for hockey and high school recognition.
Dufon was a committee member that oversaw the formation of the MHS varsity hockey program in 1999, where he also served as an adult manager for two years. He also served as athletic director for the Kalamazoo Eagles club high school hockey program from 1996 to 1999. His children have since grauduated but he remains an active sports advocate.
