Well the pre-season predictions had the grizzlies not even making the playoffs but now after an impressive season its time to face off with the Growl. The season series went the grizzlies way at 2-1-1 but its too close to give an edge to either team. So what does everyone think about this weekend? Predictions and players to watch for?

it should be a fun few games... Myself and redstreake went to catch the grizzlies games yesterday, they looked good, especially once they went down 3-1 and thier goalie was hurt on the play, they bounced back and took over the game.

Players to watch on the grizzlies are

Rob Fulton, when he keeps his cool he can take a game over all by himself
James mango, bomb of a shot, great on the pp
mike mitchell, unsung hero, scores clutch goals
Jj fichter, wants to prove himself to oldteam, great hands and shot.

Growl players,

Sullivan, like Fulton, can take a game over by himself when he wants
redstreake, kid has been straight up nasty lately
Gene gsell, been quiet of late, shows up for big games tho
Mike keating, very shut down defense with an offensive side
joey dalosio, if he's on his game, he's very tough to beat

Should be fun, lots of close friends on both teams

Should be a great series, I wish I could watch them. But with baby on the way any day now, no chance. I have to say two totally different teams, by the way they play and there rosters.

I think on paper the growl have a better team but the grizzlies hustle and work well together as a team. The growl have a great system and it has worked for them for some time now. The growl are a setup team capitalizing on teams mistakes. The grizzlies are a set up team but they tend to take it up the rink quicker. What I mean by that is the growl will play the puck back and forth until you chase. Both teams have young experienced players and they have speed and skill. I think the growls has better and more experienced veteran players. Both teams have solid goaltenders, but Joey of the growl has more play off experience and has a championship.

My prediction is growl in 3, because they are playing at home. If it was grizzlies at home I would say they would win. So home rink plays a huge role in this series. This may be the best series in all of the play offs. good luck to both teams.

The Grizzlies played 2 good games against us yesterday, 1 or 2 questionable calls but I'm not taking anything away from them. Alot of physical play but no fights....what I like to see.

On paper the Growl should win but the Grizzlies play very well together....it'll be pure skill vs pure chemistry.

Should be interesting to see what happens but with Sully, Keating and D'Aloisio I'm gonna have to take the Growl in 2.

Technically they're playing at neutral rink...NE Racquet club in Philly.

No what's your outcome??

Do not know that rink but I think the only way the grizzlies stand a chance if it was at ISCA. The way that rink is layed out, it is a huge advantage for them. If the philly rink is a good size I still say growl in 3. All games will be close down to the last minute games. I will go further and say grizzlies take game 1 and growl win the next 2.
