Ottawa stores selling wheels?

Hi guys,

First post ever, so don't rip on me if I'm breaking any unwritten laws. I'm just starting inline hockey, so I'm looking to get a starter set going. I have found second hand skates which fit really well, but their wheels are torn to shreds. The price was right (free) so I took them anyway. I am now looking for stores in Ottawa that would carry wheels (hard, 76 mm if that matters), preferably one with knowledgeable staff. Anywhere like that in the area?

im from the usa so i really dont know about stores there but you can go to hockey gian or hockey monkey and get them really cheep and only a few $ to ship the have a large selection and the prices are better then the stores

Shipping to the USA might be only a few dollars, but shipping to Canada is generally pretty expensive and if shipped via UPS or Fedex ground you get hit with brokerage fees on top of the shipping. The best way is generally to order them on a US website that will ship via USPS (I believe the last time I ordered wheels I got them from Inlinewharehouse along with some pants and an undershirt) to avoid brokerage fees and to order several at once and/or other equipment to make the shipping costs worth it. I believe you can also avoid the brokerage fees if you get them shipped via Fedex air - it's UPS and Fedex ground you need to avoid. As far as getting them locally in Canada the high end wheels are hard to find in the Toronto area - I'm not sure about Ottawa. And if you do find the high end wheels in Canada they're usually much more expensive than they are on the US sites.

The other option is to buy new or slightly used wheels from someone off a messageboard like this or another message board. I've done that before too.
