Hey Folks,

1. Just want to let you know that I'm getting a lot of great news stories submissions about inline hockey from around the country. That means that the inline hockey season is really heating up, and that's great. It also means that I can't always leave a Home Page story up for a whole day or more, as I have when news is slow. So, please be aware of that, and continue to check the list of Home Page stories in "Other Breaking News" so that you don't miss anything.

2. To save my investment of time and money in Inline Hockey Central, I'm forced to be more aggressive in monitoring the Forums section. I've said it before -- I simply can't afford to lose precious advertisers because some anonymous person wants to fling accusations of impropriety out at organizations in our sport. If you have a legitimate beef, take it up with the organization in question or contact law enforcement. Inline Hockey Central is designed to help grow the sport, not tear it down, piece by piece. In recent months, USA Hockey InLine, the Professional Inline Hockey Association and Major League Roller Hockey have all been harshly attacked -- and to what purpose?

I am well aware that no organization in our sport is perfect. I've pointed out the flaws in many inline hockey organizations myself, from my days as a columnist for Hockey Player, through my time as an editor of Roller Hockey Magazine and InLine Hockey News, and up to today, as owner and editor of Inline Hockey Central. I will continue to do so, because it's necessary to keep people honest, and for IHC's own credibility. However, I cannot and will not accept anonymous and often unfair attacks on people who are trying to rebuild and grow the great sport of inline hockey.
