I'm not here to complain about the ref's, just looking for a little insight.

Does anyone have any idea why the first goal by Florida in OT vs Michigan was waved off - after the teams shook hands and were skating off the rink?

No one went in the box for Florida - so it wasn't a penalty. In the crease maybe?

Yea, crease/goalie violation. I think it can be called either way, a penalty, or simply a faceoff up high. They opted for the second option.

The make up call to make it 4 on 2 about 20 seconds later was pretty weak though.

This whole game was ridiculous. We beat Michigan in a close 2-1 game earlier in the tournament, and to see them lose in a game like that was a joke.

And don't go by the box score; there were at least 4 more penalties that aren't on the website that were called during this game. The OT fiasco was just the icing on the cake

Games like this need to be reviewed by the league - It's time to take SomeAction!
