Hi Folks,

This is very late notice, so I don't expect (m)any IHC readers to attend, but I promised I'd post this somewhere.

David Arwedahl would like to extend an invitation to IHC’s readers to participate in an inline hockey tournament in Gothenburg, Sweden, from June 26-28, 2008. It is a 10-team tournament with prize money.

1st prize: 9000 sek, ca 970 euros
2nd prize: 7000 sek, ca 750 euros
3rd prize: 4000 sek, ca 430 euros

[sek = Swedish Krona. 1 Euro = 1.5699 U.S. dollars. - Ed.]

International Federation rules:
- sport court 60 x 30
- with puck
- No body checking
- Line changing without stops
-Game time 2x15 minutes

2 points for a win, 1 point for a tie, 0 points for a loss

Minimum of players for each team is 8 and maximum is 16 + 2 goalies
Registration fee is 4500 sek, 482 euros.

For registration please send an email with team name, all players and coaches complete names. Last day of registration is April 15.

I wish they'd announced that much earlier :( maybe next year... will have to ask my ice teams swedish imports if they know much about it.

Hey quick_dry,

Yeah, I think they stumbled upon IHC, and just a little bit late in the game. Like you say, maybe next year.
