Blizzard: Playoff Bound
The Westminster Blizzard seal their playoff spot!

Denver, CO – Last weekend the Westminster Blizzard became the second team in the Rocky Mountain Division to seal up a spot in the division playoffs. With two great wins against the Fort Collins Catz at their home arena, the Blizzard guaranteed a playoff berth and now have a chance to attack the rest of the Professional Inline Hockey Association in their quest for the Founders Cup Championship.

They became the second team to clinch their spot in the division behind the dominating squad of the Colorado Springs Thunder. The Blizzard feel confident in their run as they have given the Thunder twoof their three losses this season. No matter who they are up to face, the Blizzard are ready to give anyone a run for their money.

The Blizzard’s playoff run will begin the weekend of April 30th and the Blizzard are in good position to host home games. If the Westminster Blizzard do host home games during the divisional playoffs they will be held at the Bladium Sports Club. Tickets for Blizzard Playoff games will cost $8.00 and will be available starting April 27th online at www.blizzardinline.com and at the front desk on game day. Be aware that season ticket packages only consist of regular season games and holders of season tickets must purchase playoff tickets in order to see the games.

More playoff information will be posted on the Blizzard Inline Hockey website as it becomes available. In the meantime, Go Blizzard!

Boy, I would think a member of the Blizzard staff would know that their team has taken two games from the "dominating squad of the Colorado Springs Thunder." :D Two very close and well played games (6-5 and 5-3) with two more big games against them on Friday, 4/4.

Well did you guys hear that Matt Olsen is moving to Houston. Is he going to be able to play in the playoffs? That would suck if he couldn't. I dont know exactly when he is moving though!

April Fools???

No Rzorbck, I am totally serious. That kid is a genius and he is moving to Houston to work for NASA. I just didn't know exactly when, but I am pretty certain he is moving. Maybe BLIZZARDHOCKEY knows about it too, because it is not an April fools joke.

Yes the Oshow is moving to Houston, and it will be a devastating loss to us next season. However he is not going until after the season so rest assured that he will be ready for the playoffs! I couldnt be more happy for him to go and work with Nasa, but on the other hand I couldnt be more sad to loose such a good friend and unbelievable player!
