Beach Tournaments?

Does Anyone know if there is any Inline Tournaments in June or July anywhere near the Carolina Beachs?

My Team and I are looking to take a nice Vacation plus Go play some hockey while were at it...

Any Ideas?

But we're planning on running one next year in Ocean City, MD.

Keep us (me) updated on that tournament....OCMD is an awesome town. (even though I lost my wallet down there in a drunken stupor last summer)

Yeah it is awesome...we play in a dekhockey tournament down there every August...fun times. The rink is very wide and very short (used mostly for basketball), so I'm thinking it would be better for 3-on-3, but 4-on-4 is possible.

You hear about the fire down there? The Dough Roller and arcade down on the boardwalk got burned pretty bad the other day.

I hear ya on losing stuff there - I once left my cell phone at that exact Dough Roller, and one of the staff girls chased us down for 2 blocks and returned it to me. Too bad I didn't get a chance to repay her...haha

yea I was down there cuz a couple of my friends had a deck hockey tournament at that same place, the rink is pretty much square. 3 on 3 would be fun.....why not do it this summer?

1) Not enough time to plan...I just came up with the idea a couple weeks ago

2) I'm running 2 tournaments at home in Pittsburgh in July - and they're gonna be big events so I probably won't have time to do another this summer.

The Renegades Will Definitly be getting in the July Tournament at Southpointe

Someone from the SC Pirates of PIHA should organize a tourney. They are pretty close to Myrtle Beach. I know I could prob get some guys together and field a team for that.

What's the adult tournament scene like out there in your area? Is it oversaturated with tournaments, or is there room to grow?

I'd say there's about 1 big tournament every 3 months or so (NARCH, TORHS & AAU) Thats including North Jersey rinks and the rinks around Philly.

Iron Man tourneys maybe once every 1 or 2 months.

I would like to see more...
