Pro: Assault won both games, first was OT, 2nd was 5-3 i believe

Minor: Bandits won both, 2nd game the won with 14 seconds to play

FYI for anyone curious, the Assault went to PA with pretty much the entire minor team and only 3 regular pros. We had some issues with players backing out last minute.

probably just a scheduling conflict with the rink. we still have games scheduled vs. the bandits at harmarville. the bandits have played out of the iceoplex in the past, but they only put down sport court in the spring/summer.

Are they an ice facillity? I've never heard of one doing that.

The Iceoplex is where the Bandits and Lunatics played their playoff game last season and I assure you it is a first rate facility for games. It may well have been one of the nicest places we played last season. It also has a very good restaraunt inside the rink that serves adult beverages (not that I condone that....crosses fingers). It is certainly a facility that PIHA could say is in its top 5.

Hey Chris, congrats on your wins on Sunday. We know you guys had a rough trip up here. GL the rest of the way.

yeah we had a roadtrip from hell. Check this out...

Saturday we hit over 3 hours of traffic because of mountain tunnels in West Virginia causing us to arrive 2 hours late with a very short crew and obviously having to play minutes after arriving from a 12 hour trip. Then we got to play a PO'd Inferno team and I played the worst 2 games of my life when my team probably needed me most because like I said earlier, we had only 3 of our regular starting 8. ROUGH DAY!

Sunday we were coming off a good night's sleep and were less than a mile from Bladerunners so the morning was a lot less hectic. We came together and won both pro games with a very inexperienced Assault lineup. I will also say that I think Pittsburgh was in the same boat but not quite as bad off. Anyhow.....then we got to make the LONG trip home and at about 1am, just 30 minutes from home...WE BROKE DOWN!!!!!! We had to call a tow truck and didn't get home until 6am!

Yes the Iceoplex is primarily an Ice facility but they do inline in the off-season. If they did Inline year round, like Todd said, it would be one of the nicest facilities in PIHA.

And Chris, wow that sucks about breaking down. At least you guys managed to get a few wins with your shorthanded line-up. Ya we (inferno) were a little a little PO'd having to wait for you guys, but both of your teams were cool during all 4 games, nothing got too chippy even though the scores weren't all that close during parts. I'm sure you guys were just as annoyed, and i was glad to see your teams try to make the best of a bad situation. As i said before, good luck with the rest of your season season.
