Which wheels??

So I just tried new wheels on this outdoor rink and the wheels i tried were 83A I think, and lets just say i didnt have a good skate. The rink is nice ( Its a mateflex III, it can be found on the mateflex site ) and I was wondering how soft should I go on this surface?
