Ahhhhh.....the Whalers. Hated them due to their often heated rivalry with the Bruins, but loved having them so close by so that we could go to the Civic Center and get some cheap but top notch seats to see the teams that were sold out at the Garden. They were also good to have around as we were able to watch their games up here in Boston well before anyone even thought of the Center Ice Package. Ironically enough, after being a season ticket holder to the Lowell Lock Monsters for 7 years, my 2nd favorite NHL team is the Hurricanes.

.....but yeah, about those green/blue jerseys......oh well, like Richard said, there's always next year ;)

Being a die-hard Whaler and now Canes fan myself, It's good to see you've seen the light and have become a somewhat reformed Canes fan ;)

I hated the Bruins from back in the day because everyone in the Adams (aside of Quebec) always used to pound on the Whalers, but the one thing we all had in common was our hatred for Montreal which I'm sure we still share!

I was thinking of following through on my threat to create IHC jerseys that were distinct from the "Original 99" IHC 10-year anniversary commemorative jerseys. If Brandon Morton was to create a new design without that designation that could be sold throughout the year to help create income for IHC -- and maybe even create a surplus so Mike Burke could stop complaining ;) -- would you support that idea? In different colors, of course...

I'll definitely put some thought into design ideas. Perhaps you could get some of the leaders in the industry to pay a reasonable fee to have their logo(s) strategically placed on the jersey? That in turn could raise some revenue for IHC as well.

I can picture it now, a big IHC logo on the chest, a Misson "M" on one shoulder and the Rink Rat logo on the other. Place an RBK logo between the number and the ACE logo and you'd have some prime advertising space that could quite possibly bring in some funds.

Colors.....I'm easy to please. Something with red, white, silver, gray, or black would do me just fine.

***Disclaimer*** I only mentioned those companies as I ran out of ideas regarding where to prominently place other logos. I mean no disrespect to any unmentioned manufacturers :cool:.

Well the pads i got used on ebay, and they are having a sale on vapor xxx sticks at goaliemonkey so i bought those 2 the skates i have had since i don't know 99' maybe.
